'16 GA ATH Kyle Davis

He's the 158th overall player and the 22nd best WR in the country on Rivals. Is it just me or is that a bunch of WRs ranked neain the top 150?

"neain"?

Wow Rivals giving him the Preston Williams treatment. 247 and ESPN have him as the #1 WR in nation. 247 composite has him as #5 WR.

yes, that does seem like a lot. if you consider 8 positions (OL, RB, TE, WR, QB, DL, LB, DB) it should be 18 and change average. so slightly higher than the "average"

Those 8 "positions" aren't equally represented on the field. IMO, you've got 22 players on the field, an average of 3 of them are WR. Or 13.5%. 13.5% of 158 is 21.33. So 22 seems about right.

Arguably, it's low since recruiting services typically rank skill players such as a WR higher than other positions (ILB, C, TE).

Vol Lock.

"With the spread offense that Tennessee, Auburn and South Carolina run, they really compliment him," Kyle's father, Ron Davis, told AL.com Wednesday during The Opening in Oregon. "It's always good to go into something that you know. I just don't see UGA being one that would actually develop him as well as some of the other schools would.

"I know Georgia is giving him a lot of hype about what they're doing... but Kyle needs to go to a school that best enhances his skill and somewhere that can prepare him for the next level."

LOL boy howdy what a quote. How have the times have changed in football. I can remember a time when Georgia was using their pro-style offense as a selling point in player development for the NFL.

dad is right on. Another reason Van Jefferson soured on UGA. AU runs the ball a ton too though. I like where this is going nonetheless.
