We continue to hear the Kyle Davis continues to have strong interest in Tennessee along with Georgia and Auburn. The Vols have done a tremendous job of recruiting Davis over the last six months, getting him to leave his family and head anywhere but Athens will be a tough task in the end. We're not saying that neither Auburn or Tennessee can't pull it off, but it will be tough.

The TOS UT guys basically made it sound like while Tennessee has done a great job with Kyle Davis, he's pretty much a UGA lock. Very disappointing to read that last night.

Well we are hearing from our board that Davis is definitely not a lock and could be leaning to UT...This weekend could actually go a long way in giving UT a bigger edge.

2 Different posters on 247 about Davis.

VQ's recruiting snippets are basically encoded messages, and to me this one reads that Tennessee has a huge amount of momentum right now and possibly leads, but that they aren't confident enough/in a position to say that just yet.

Look at the adjectives they use. "Strong interest," "tremendous job." They generally don't use words like that unless they feel very strongly about their knowledge in where a recruit is leaning.

Some of my uga friends believe they get hardman and we get Davis . None believe he goes to athens

This just my take but I feel Victor is 1a 1b with hardman I think we have full court press for him due to where we r currently with hardman.....I believe we have great shot with him

I doubt it. If there was, VQ would have thrown in some "Tennessee has positioned itself nicely" or "Davis may make a decision as early as this weekend" wording in there.

IMO, the staff feels very good about Davis, told the VQ guys as much, but also said they're not sure when Davis will pull the trigger.

VQ can take that info and build hype without spilling the beans or appearing "wrong" if Davis changes his mind for some reason.

I've seen this posted a couple times in different threads, but apparently Henderson has grade concerns and may be an "academic casualty"... So, I think Freddie Swain will take his place in this class.

Apparently Keith Niebuhr posted on the UGA247 site that two different sources told him UT and AU were his top two with UGA as his "distant" third.

That's all he said besides he wasn't sure he believed UGA being a distant 3rd part. He just wanted to pass along what he had heard from two sources. he thought it was odd but when he had a 2nd source repeat it he felt it was worth passing along
