Why can't it simply mean he's seen all he needs to see on campus to know he wants to go to UT and wants to get closer with his future coaches? That's how it reads to me.

I agree, sounds the same way to me. He wants to get closer to the players and coaches, because there his future team. I may be dreaming but sounds like we're in good shape here.

That list is going to grow and could include Mecole Hardman and Nathan Niehaus. Hardman confirmed to us this week that if he does visit it will be that weekend as the last two weekends of the month he has an official visit to TCU scheduled plus the USA-Canada all-star game.

Hardman's recruitment is taking some interesting twists as Georgia has lost some of the staff members he was closest to, most notably Jeremy Pruitt. Certainly, most see the Dawgs as the team still to beat, he visited unofficially before the dead period, but Tennessee is still very much in play and an official visit could be a big boost for the Vols heading down the stretch.

I'm slightly tongue in cheek with my response but he is an insider, identity unknown but mass speculation, and left me personally jaded after dropping a positive Carl Lawson bomb that yielded tons of open rejoicing on VN but no commit.

See how they can turn on you GFW. He was a lot like you. Then when some things went wrong then some were vicious. He said Tee was coming home and when that did not happen , he was hammered. Rarely will post now. Some love to do that even when some have info. I was told I was crazy that a certain D 1 b ball coach would never leave his job but he did. If Martin had left quicker, he would've been our coach instead of Donnie But he did take another job and then it was oh well. I think we miss a lot if good info because of the VN INSIDER POLICE.

Who are you talking about?

As far as skeeter goes, I believe he does/did work for the athletic dept and was just passing along what he was told from people who speak directly to recruits. Carl Lawson and Vonn Bell were either lying or just telling people what they wanted to hear in January 2013. Insider information will only be as trustworthy as the recruit. Like you, I miss him posting here and wish he would come back.

Skeeter is a true insider that has really nailed some things in the past. But he had a few prominent whiffs early in the CBJ tenure, including about Tee Martin coming I believe. VolNation expects absolute perfection from its insiders so despite a long track record of success, Skeeter has largely been relegated to the dustbin by many on this site. He doesn't seem to come around as often and when he does he gets trashed.

I don't think Skeeter is afraid of posting, I am pretty sure he doesn't work in the department anymore. I don't think he has much info to share. He was legit though. VN idiots don't understand that sometimes these kids are liars. I wonder how Ole Miss coaches felt about Drew Richmond for example? Pretty sure they believed he was all Ole Miss. Right till the point he wasn't. Some kids are solid people and info on them is reliable, some are not, and info on them is almost useless till the fax rolls in.

Funny how how people with no inside info ever are the ones blasting people who tell what they know. I mostly lurk, looking for people who can give a inside word, most people have know inside info and need a place to talk about their beloved Vols! I have no inside info, but appreciate people who do, thanks for the few who can give a insightful word!
