'16 FL WR Binjimen Victor (Ohio State commit)

Weather could possibly be bad this weekend...hope those guys would enjoy seeing some snow on their visit

This guy is a bum. We didn't really want him.:whistling:

Nah, OSU got a good one but we're not done yet. I'm glad he dumped Florida though.

This staff has criminally mismanaged a wealth of WR talent. Other coaches are reminding recruits of that.

There's some validity to that.
No way Malone, Pearson and North should put up the paltry numbers they did.

I find myself disturbingly shocked at how often 2-3 WRs all end up within 5 yards of each other during games.

I don't think it's about keeping guys happy by getting a certain number of touches per game per se but you do need to get them involved to keep them alert during the game...that said, like Coach Shoop said, you build the offense/defense around the players you have, and right now we have an incredible rushing attack and it's working.

Keeping guys happy is one thing. Utilizing your best players is another. Design more plays for Wolf on second and medium. Design more to isolate your best WR on their worst CB. Attack the mismatches on the field within the offense if you can. Don't just line up and run your system.

How they used North was ridiculous. Any other school he would've had 6-8 targets a game. Should've been used very similar to Treadwell.

Good post. You and I along with a couple others have been singing the same song on this for a couple of years now. It looks fixed on D with Shoop. It needs fixed on O with Butch and Debord. I've got to believe it will be improved next season. Butch recognized it on D and did something. We saw some scheme change against NU on O, even if he did not use the right player (Ellis vs. Wolf) at TE. The lead blocker on runs was heading the right direction.

Could not agree more.

But the system is infallible

They arent horrible, overall as a staff is C+ or B- but after the early enrollees would you say this staff is on the way to closing strong?

Cleveland is the only option for #1 WR (committed to Hou), Fulton is LA kid and UF doesnt have DB coach which is still important no matter how close him and skip are, Mack aint coming, neither Dickerson or Simpson.

Dont get me wrong they have done some positive things but you have to be concerned at how this finish is looking.

Vol fans aint giving any pats on the back at how this class is closing.

Saved for NSD.

It's sad. Someone is gonna get a steal late if he truly is healthy...

Dude he could be an NFL No.1 easy. His catching radius is ridiculous and he doesn't drop a lot of passes either. I just never understood the lack of usage after they designed plays for him as a freshman. They feature Smith, Jennings, Pearson, and Malone but not North. He might as well had left school. Lol

Got the (Ohio State commit) slapped on faster than any of ours ever had. :)

Its a problem with several factors.

- I think we play too many WRs.
- Development is an issue.
- While Dobbs runs the ground portion of the offense well, he struggles especially when we are in known passing downs.
