'16 FL RB Zack Moss

Hurd was replaced at the 1, and we couldn't get in the end zone giving it to our sattelight RB, btw which every RB on the roster besides Hurd resembles.

I don't see Moss as a marginal back. I see that the things he does best, aren't the strengths of the current crop of our RBs on the roster

Is this the film y'all watched? And said it was sped up? Can't be. That's some great balance, feet, vision, and leg drive.

Yep. Low center of gravity and power

Said earlier in the thread he reminds me of a former TN RB from FrostProof

My guess is because we lose 2 next year (most likely), and that will leave us with Kelly, Young, and CFA. Just more insurance, especially with how unpredictable injuries are. Jmo

Exactly. Running backs are so important to this offense. Can't go into 2017 with 3 and risk transfers/injuries. It's insurance.

Maybe they also have a good understanding of how many of the outstanding recruits will actually sign and know the spot is available.

TOS Poster saying Joe Young may have a career-threatening injury? Anyone else heard about this? Could be why Moss has been a popular target by our staff these last few weeks before NSD...

Good find. If true, I'd probably change my view on this recruitment.

Problem is if we told Carlin we are only taking one RB. If that is the case, with what he is doing with Byrd I would want to keep him happy.

It was said in the War Room that an injury from this year could end Young's career, which is why we are after Moss.

I watched all the film that I could find and Moss doesn't look like a "marginal" back imo. He looks strong and his build is similar to Kelly's. His lower body looks built. He has good leg drive, body lean and footwork. A back doesn't have to have 4.4 speed. Butch did a good job evaluating Isaiah Pead. I'll go with whatever Butch thinks.

Man we really need to land the instate backs next year. If we only take CFA this year and lose Young 😬😬😬😬😬😬

Hope we land this kid. See what he can do on a real field and not looking like nelly in the longest yard

All seriousness great vision. Smooth cutbacks. Great burst and top end speed and a very low center of gravity. Would be a nice get
