Well maybe the Miami guy with the Vol screen name will clarify. V4L are you saying TB chose the Vols because he was scared of the workouts at Miami?

By the way, you didn't need to disguise yourself with that screen name. We allow rival posters as long as they are civil. Unlike Canesinsight where you immediately get banned.

"Follow you around"? Don't flatter yourself. I would rather get my left testicle shut in a car door than ever reach a point in my life where I was "following" an anonymous person's posts on an Internet message board. You just made yourself an easy target tonight with the "What does Obama have to do with something laughable & ridiculous?" & "Tee Higgins is the best WR prospect UT has had committed in the last 10 years besides CP" posts. Also, I don't think posting/commenting on the same two threads as another poster in one day constitutes as "following around". But tomorrow is another day & I fully believe you can start fresh & redeem yourself.

I have a real life why would I feel the need to REDEEM myself on a fan message board? Oh okay.......... I post my opinions and if you don't approve of them ummmm why would I worry myself again? Yeah okay.........

Whatever we think of President Obama's positions on issues, the politics does not belong on this board.

V4L's posts might make sense to V4L, but some of it made no sense to me. The idea that Byrd decommitted from Miami for Tennessee because he lacked confidence in himself is a personal attack against the young man, which I think is just plain wrong.

Also, the screen name "V4L" is just plain wrong for a Miami fan.

What's interesting about this class is that if Tennessee could have taken 25, a full class, the Vols' ranking could have been much higher.

In mid-January, a four-star defensive lineman was on the verge of a public commitment to Tennessee. How close? We just removed the story from our database today where the prospect described his commitment to us.

The prospect backed off the pledge after a visit to another school where his family really fell in love and Tennessee's interest level dropped because Tyler Byrd began to seriously listen to the Vols.

I have ALOT of pride in all my home teams including the Miami Norland High School Vikings (my alma mater)... V4L in my case stands for Viking For Life.. I know it also stands for Vol For Life in Tennessee, but it doesn't phase me at all to use this screen name because I have been saying V4L before I even knew what a Vol was. It fits in so I didn't bother to think of anything else.

Might I add the weirdest thing about this is that a hand sign that we used to do for my group (gang, what ever you want to call it) in high school is the same as the "VOL" hand sign. Pretty funny to me...

I was in band is the only relevant thing in regards to that.
The hand sign stands for 1 - 11 which was our "theme song" I guess you can say. "Group" name has nothing to do with the school name, hand sign has nothing to do with the name.

Speaks to the judgment of the poster, imo. If the point of the picture was to show the hand sign, the color of those using it is irrelevant.
