What plays did Moseley make in 2015? Getting beat deep repeatedly is making plays? I mean the WR Dieter from BG killed him. We switched Foreman on him & foreman did better. Foreman is a better corner than Moseley.
So since Sutton also got beaten in that game he's also no good? We can make generalizations about him based on that one game?

Moselely will see spare playing time in 2016. Too many now ahead of him & he gets beat way too much. He will become a role player & just play a few snaps per game & probably some special teams. Yes, he's being demoted!

Yeah.... uh, no. You probably need to go back and watch more games from last year and especially toward the end.

He made some nice plays towards the end of the season. Granted, most of the teams we played on the backstretch had nearly non existent passing games to begin with.

Justin Martin is obviously the more naturally talented DB, but I think it says something about Moseley that there will still be an open competition for the #2 CB spot heading into fall camp.

Moseley got beat multiple times in multiple games. I was just giving you one game dude. Sutton got beat maybe once or twice all season long compared to Moseley getting beat every game. I don't think that's even close.

That's why Foreman started playing for him. Moseley did play some better in the final 2 games but Foreman still outplayed him.

Moseley will get some snaps. I'm not saying he won't but the talent we have now in the secondary will blow him away. That's why I forecast a reduced role for him in 2016. That plus his bad performance from most of last season. You just watch what I'm telling you buddy.

How can you say that after the classes he's brought in so far in his years here at UT? No worse than a top 15 signing class since he's been here when before we couldn't do any better than #29 overall class for years. If there's one thing Butch can do is that he can recruit.

For 2017 I think in my own personal opinion he's signed far too many 3* recruits but it's not over yet & I assume a few of those will leave & go elsewhere. To say he can't recruit isn't fair to CBJ at all Biopsyman!

Coaching itself is up for bigtime debate for certain situations in games but recruiting isn't something you can question about him. I don't understand what else more you expect him to do buddy with recruiting.

He can.. I was questioning the naysayers

Foreman wasn't playing for Moseley because Moseley isn't a NB. He plays on the outside. He was starting until Martin overtook him there later in the season.

Finding playing time for back-ups that would start for 95% of the other college football teams in the country is a great problem to have.

My mistake. I know Foreman got into a lot of the coverages that Moseley would have defended. He may not have played his true CB position & the NB but he still was better than Moseley for most of the year.

Foreman has even turned into a solid tackler for us. We started using him as a rushing DB in the last 2-3 games last season & he was making the tackles on the outside an awful lot. I don't see how any here on VN could say that Moseley played a better 2015 season than Foreman.

Moseley actually had better stats on the year than Foreman except that Foreman forced one fumble. They were close though. Eleven passes defended by Moseley is nothing to sneeze at. I think you are underestimating him.

Looks like he, too, was joking.

Berry led the nation in kick returns last year - outside of injury, I don't see anyone else getting an opportunity other than when opposing teams try to kick it away from Berry.

Might be an occasional relief and eventual replacement for Sutton at punt return? Tho Kamara was awesome.

Kamara was dynamite on punt returns even though half of the ones he took back were called back for holding or something.

SDS has Warror and Byrd listed. Anyone think Byrd will be returning kicks?

3 summer arrivals who can help Tennessee most this season

An occasional return or two for relief of Sutton on PR's is possible in 2016. Evan Berry has the KR duties wrapped up. Byrd will become our main PR guy come the 2017 season. He will be an elite one too.

He is the most dynamic, athletic & agile return me that I've seen come out of high school in years. He'll just have to wait until his sophomore season to become our regular PR guy. It will be amazing to watch too.
