I agree with this bruin. Missed bad on dline IMO but did very well with QB, DB, OL, WR and TE. Gonna need a big year in recruiting d-line and rbs next year.

C is a little harsh imo. This class is solid. Depth at DT and DE would have been nice, but missing out on Brown and maybe Kongbo doesn't make this class horrible. Too many people make their judgements on who we didn't get.

This is just like the Jefferson recruitment from last year. Freeze was recruiting his parents and his parents were on the hook to Ole Miss. Jefferson loved Florida and always did. Even after committing you'll remember the very public spat between his sons decision to sign with Florida including the bad mouthing of Florida coaches.

Freeze has the Dad in his pocket and is hoping for a different result than Jefferson's result last year.

How so? Our star average is pretty high right? We have top end talent, Callaway and Byrd are both versatile WRs/CBs, and Osbourne is very very underrated as a mid to low 4*. Gurantano is my favorite QB in this years class, and that's not because he's a Vol. Last year it was Stidham. The year before it was Harris at LSU. Not to mention Warrior is Von Bell good. I think Alexis Johnson is very underrated. Gained speed. Gained some athletic OL. Gained versatility.

Butch and our coaches have seen the players we are signing. They know what we need.

Based on their past record here at Tennessee, I think they know a WHOLE LOT MORE about what they are doing than we do.

Some on here make me sick. Gripe about everything. Get on board and trust the coaches who have brought this program back and we are very strong.

This has been a very good day. GO VOLS!

It's really about #'s Bruin. Our avg. star rating is right on par with our previous classes. We won't sign 30 players, therefore our ranking won't be as high. There are a lot of difference makers and depth builders in this class.

He's a very impressive man when you sit down and talk with him. I've known Hugh since he was coaching Lambuth college here in Jackson tn. He's a great coach and a HELL of a relentless recruiter. I know most on here ***** and moan about bag men but he's doing a great job selling Ole Miss. It's a beautiful campus with BEAUTIFUL women everywhere. Not hard to sell.

What's up with Ole Miss being chock full of 10s? Where the hell do they come from? Mississippi is dead last in everything in the USA. I know the gene pool in that state isn't exactly the strongest in the country.

We missed on guys like Clayton who went to UF and Brown (who cares where he goes) but missing on guys like Daniels (TX) and Clark (?) aren't that bad. Alexis Johnson and possibly Bituli will do us fine, especially considering our depth and talent there already. Kongbo would be a huge bonus, and I'm still thinking he's ours

We're #7 in the SEC-- behind UGA and UA, both with fewer recruits signed. We have the same number of signees as Bama, sitting at #2. Without Kongbo, we won't finish in the Top 15.
