This year's class will not be top 5 in the SEC, much less the nation. Butch has shown his hand. He can't coach on the sideline. He can beat schools where he has much better talent but against SEC schools he is only average at best. If he falters in getting the SEC title next year, he will never get one at UT.

And he runs a spread offense! We'll never be able run the ball out of the spread!

So your saying if we missed on all of them you wouldn't be upset at all? You surely realize how silly your unrealistic sunshine pumping is? People on here have a very very hard time with reality and then get extremely butthurt when something doesn't go our way. I don't get my hopes up as much because being butthurt is silly. I guarantee that if we don't get any of the 4, the fans that are being sunshine pumpers will have a thread started about how butch sucked this year in recruiting. I've seen it happen over and over again. Better to be realistic and not get your feelings hurt when something bad does happen, then being unrealistic and bashing coaches, players, and VN posters when something bad happens.

It should be a failure to the staff because we should have big time recruits every year. I also believe we won't get any of them. So therefore that's a failure recruiting class. Something just wasn't clicking this year. It would also be a failure because that means we lost 4 big battles to Alabama or Georgia. How can you not see that that's not a failure?

People love negativism and if they can post something under an alias, all the more better.

I read an article about a year ago about the Appalachian Trail. After reading the article, I scrolled to read the comments in the blog. Before there were much more than 6 or 7 comments, 2 people were angrily going back and forth with insults and name-calling.

I have been following recruiting for a long time, and 4 individual players don't make or break a class for me. If we landed Dickerson, Callaway, Pierre, and another DE/DT, then we got good players at needed positions. If anything, this staff has proven that they can evaluate talent, but many ignore that.

Evaluating talent is good if you can land the talent. Hardman, brown, warrior, and kongbo are huge players. I think it is realistic that we don't land these players because they talk all about other schools and barely us. I'm saying its a failure recruiting class because our biggest fish will be Jarrett which is kind of disapponting. Quarterback isn't even a position of need.
