At the end of that sequence you'll notice another UT great. Mr. Gault on kickoff return.

Reggie was an awesome man who loved the Lord and was blessed with tremendous God given ability. It was a very sad day when he passed. We were blessed he was a VFL.

Reggie was my camp counselor at FCA camp at black mountain NC in 1983...so serious about his faith and hilarious at the same time. His impersonations were on the money...Howard Cosell, Mohamed Ali, Keith Jackson. Never been anyone like him in ability and sharing his faith. Maybe Tim Tebow if he was good in NFL.

These days the refs would review that play for 15 minutes then decide to nullify the touchdown, claiming it was either 1) an incomplete pass or 2) the receiver was down, so it couldn't be a fumble. Whatever it took to drain as much excitement out of the play as possible.

Man...I’ll never forget the day I met him. Time does fly these days, hard to believe it’s been 15 years since his passing. And 40 years since I met him at Gibbs Hall.

Best EVER ON & OFF the field.

Received the sad news while we were in London. I think I have the newspaper. Reggie was indeed special & beloved by all.

I used to see him all the time when I was a freshman at UT...Got in a elevator with him once and just had to marvel at just how big that guy was and could move like he did...Made me realize the reason I didn't attempt playing college football...Super nice guy and very missed by the VOL nation....Best defensive player I have seen to this day at UT.

I was in Kentucky visiting my family. Saw it on the local news, broke my heart.

Reggie White may be the single biggest reason that I love football as much as I do. He was the first player I remember watching and thinking that it was unfair. I don't see many people talk about his performance in Super Bowl 31 since Desmond Howard had the game of his life, but Reggie gave the Patriots right tackle a thorough beating.
