Would bet money that JJ redshirts this year. I think he's transitioning back to DE. Was pretty much hurt all Spring. Got a lot of capable bodies at DE.

I've thought for a while that he'd be best suited to play a Maggit style role where he's mostly attacking instead of reading and reacting.

The only thing that will keep KMac of the field this fall will be an injury... Luckily the dude is built like an ox and plays smart football, so that shouldn't be an issue.

I think Darrin Kirkland will lock that spot down sooner rather than later but Gavin Bryant is going to be tough to keep on the bench too. There has been a lot of hype about how DK's mental aspect is off the charts and how GBO just hits really hard and tackles well. It should be a fun competition to watch this fall.

Agree. If Bryant can learn the D he should be a head hunter on the field. And with the smarts Kirkland has and his abilities, he will be seeing the field much sooner than most. We are going to have some serious competition at LB.

Coaches said Bates just needs to learn the defense so he can play faster. I have no doubt he will get there soon.

Drew will wk mainly against DE and Lb since he is a tackle.As far as Kahlil there isn't a guard or center that's gonna be safe.

Not impossible he weighs 340 benches 500 lbs and squats 600 lbs.He has a very low center of gravity and has been around pro players and trainers his entire life.I would like to see it though.Kinda like the video of the hs kid dunking on Lebron.
