I think he's talented and versatile enough to play multiple position at a high level. I like him as a SLB right now but i could see him growing into a rush DE or LEO similar to Vereen. Although I think DeBerry has more potential as a LB than Vereen did. He's quicker and moves better (more fluid) than Vereen from what I've seen of him. If I had to guess though I'd say he would play mostly LB and rush the QB on passing downs.

Is it a violation to check his body fat %? I wouldn't think so. I don't see how it's any different than having a guy workout for you or measuring his height/weight.

I'm with you OF...I'm think he would make an outstanding LEO. IMO you can't go wrong either way with this kid because I can see him doing well at SOLB as well. Point is moot because I think he will be a star at whatever position he lands. All I know is I would LOVE to see him land in Knoxville...
