'15 TX RB Corey Dauphine

could be why they are so concerned in finding a 3rd back.. scott was promised the number one spot (we all know how that goes) and doesn't like taking the backseat to Hurd.. pops is connected to the program.

Why would he believe that hee would be #1? Jalen was an EE and Lane was a senior. Plus, Scott has been hurt. I definitely get he wants the rock, but patience. He's obviously gonna get some carries with Marlin out now. Just think it would be a knee jerk reaction. Also, Jalen has been the freshman RB in the country besides maybe the 2 at UGA

I don't see him transferring yet and I hope he doesn't, but the bolded is why I could believe it. He is clearly not overtaking Hurd and now by adding Kamara it is only going to make it more difficult to get carries. Great problem for us as fans, not so much for anyone backing those two up.

One could guess it was just coach speak and promises made during the recruiting process. Scott was considered a top tier RB and had a lot of options on where he could play. He chose to be the 3rd RB taken in UT's class for 2014. Once the kid gets on campus and realizes a lot of what was said during the recruiting process was BS, those other options he had looks appealing along with the early playing time. Not saying he would bail, but more and more kids are realizing that playing closer to home and or at smaller schools is not all bad. As I mentioned in other threads, an NCState, UNC, Duke, or whatever can get you to the NFL just as easy as an SEC team can. If you're a star, the NFL scouts will find you.

Unless you're a winning program playing for titles, it's not easy to get kids at a given position to just sit and wait their turn. Being the #4,5,6 guy on an SEC team means you could likely be seeing field time in other conferences.

watch for scott to transfer to nc state.. would be a huge loss because he is the next shady McCoy.. watch his highlights and the jumpcuts he pulls out, you can't teach. better start givin him the rock QUICKLY.

Why would you think this? Frazier the F$U commit is probably going to flip to them and according to some around the NC St camp is they are trying to lure Frazier there with the fact he would be their #1

Something tells me Scott is about to see some action pretty routinely for the rest of the year.

Corey Dauphine - Hudl

Vols offered.

This is one of the best highlights of a Rb I have seen in a while. Shows power, speed, and vision. Just moved to top of Rb board imo.
