I think we have a very good shot to land Dormady. Waller, not so much. Waller's list just looks strange to me. He has OSU, OR, and USC in his top 3 and does not have an offer from any of them. Now he says bama and au are very much in play. As a Vols fan and seeing he has a UT offer but we are not in the top 3 and or above schools he does not even have an offer from tells me all I need to know.

I looked at Wallers offer list and have wondered the same thing. I read on BR that he holds an offer from Bama but he is waiting on bigger offers??? He must really want to play at either USC, OR or OSU. But it seems strange they have not offered him. Maybe they know something we don't :dunno:

Waller plays in one of the toughest high school leagues in the country which to me amplifies his film. However, I believe we are out of the picture with him,

Boerne (Texas) QB*Quinten Dormady*tweets he's received an offer from Alabama on Tuesday following his showing at the Tide's camp The. 6-foot-4, 208-pounder participated in both sessions on Tuesday, throwing for offensive coordinator*Lane Kiffin*and the Tide staff.

"It went really good and (the offer) means a lot," Dormady told BOL.

Dormady, who also holds offers from the likes of Oklahoma State, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, TCU, Indiana, and Kentucky is only the second non-committed QB to glean an offer from the Tide. He missed his junior season due to injury but has had a strong spring camp circuit. Dormady ranks as the no. 174 overall prospect and no. 5 pro-style QB by 247Sports.

He will end up with more big time offers. This kid has the size, arm and ceiling to be very good. Already a 4* on 247.Think Dormandy and Darnold are the 2 blowing up. Would love Dormady and/ or Darnold.

He is compared to Gentry and Wimbush. Those guys were our main targets at one point. We've moved down the list and sent out other offers now...

You would be right if it weren't for this kid's particular case. Because he was injured his junior year, and is now throwing again, it caused for a late start. If he had played his junior year, I don't doubt he would have been up there with Gentry.

With the talent that we have at WR, Dormady is the the passer that I hope to see signing with the Vols in February.
