Haven't seen an interview with Dormady. Did I miss it where he said Bama leads?

I think a lot of folks just assume he will pick bama once they offered. I'm holding out hope that he remembers the UT coaches came to see him in TX several times and bama would not come see him at all. If he wanted the offer from them, he had to make the trip to tuscaloser. I'm hoping he picks and Vols.

Weren't there some quotes recently about his Bama trip, but I haven't seen any quotes about the UT trip? That is what has me worried.

He is still at UT. Hubbs we will hear news shortly after returns home.

I hope he has the opportunity to ask Gruden what he thinks about Kiffin. That should be interesting.

I would love it if Bama leads, but I have not seen anything like that. BOL writers crystal ball'd him to Bama but as far as I know Dormady never said anything about us leading.

Boerne (Texas) QB Quinten Dormady tweets he's received an offer from Alabama on Tuesday following his showing at the Tide's camp The. 6-foot-4, 208-pounder participated in both sessions on Tuesday, throwing for offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin and the Tide staff.
"It went really good and (the offer) means a lot," Dormady told BOL.
Dormady, who also holds offers from the likes of Oklahoma State, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, TCU, Indiana, and Kentucky is only the second non-committed QB to glean an offer from the Tide. He missed his junior season due to injury but has had a strong spring camp circuit. Dormady ranks as the no. 174 overall prospect and no. 5 pro-style QB by 247Sports

Best QB is going to be the guy who can read the defensive coverage and accurately throw to the elite weapons that Butch has lined up to make plays at WR and RB.

Butch did not bring those playmakers to Knoxville so he could run the wishbone triple option or Texas veer.

Work calls, otherwise I'd go back and look. I'm just going off of a fuzzy memory anyhow. Like I said, I've love for this dude to be in our QB class with Jennings. I hope it happens.

"Bol writer said Dormady is on UT's campus yesterday.. Said he was supposed to do it next week but the UA offer and push has sped up his process... Whatever that means. Dont know if thats good or bad for us ha"

He was always scheduled to be here this weekend.

I thought he was showing up and leaving before the camp started. People were saying he was scared to throw with other top QBs and was skipping town before the camp started. Maybe I read it wrong though.

Is Jones recruiting Gibson at QB? Do you think he doesn't believe Gibson can be an elite QB?

I have nothing against Dormandy. I'll be happy if we get a commitment from him but obviously Jones sees enough talent in Gibson to know that he has a shot to be a phenomenal QB.

haha yeah I got excited at first when I saw that posted on here, but couldn't find anything supporting it.. unfortunately.

Looking like for us Dormady is Bama's last hope... and we came in late so I don't know how realistic of a chance we have. we will see...
