You have just discovered the great secret. There is a reason they are fans on couches and in the stands instead of coaches at a high D1 program. They are more like Dooley than actual D1 coaches.

Alabama offered him 500k,and arky topped that to keep him. So that's two others who apparently overrated him.

You know how it is bro..if a kid isn't a all-America candidate right out the box, then he is trash to a lot of the folks here.

We aren't asking anyone to be an All-American. Just attempt to slow down the pass rush which no one was capable of doing.

That #82 ranking in sacks allowed does speak volumes of him.

That #82 ranking in sacks allowed does speak volumes of him.

Notre Dame only allowed 8 total sacks in 2013.... Notre Dame had many problems this year with suspensions and other off the field issues

QB can't hold it forever either. It takes experience to adjust to the speed and set that mental clock. I heard a lot of people blame the oline this year on plays where the qb held onto the ball too long and didn't work the pocket.

That didn't help but there were also a lot of plays where the OL didn't even lay a hand on a rusher.
