Dez: "who?"

Reporter: "Derek Dooley.... Your position coach?"

Dez: "Shiiiiittt... I ain't even know I had one"

Lol

I don't know why but I think of Dez as one of those that probably refers to himself in 3rd person. "Dez Bryant ain't got no WR coach. Dez Bryant got a dude that tries to teach me about bamboo and a orange dog. "

Kenny Britt did that crap... You want to talk about arrogant that dude man. "Kenny Britt sitting here on the couch #1 draft pick getting all the ladies" "yo tell Kenny Britt that Kenny Britt jersey don't look good on that wall"....... I wanted to throw up with all the arrogance I listened to for an hour

.....And Dez loses 2 games in a row and he's back to screaming at people on the sidelines. In the past 'ey?

Dez Bryant with Doolander as his coach has always been a recipe for disaster. Just sit back and enjoy the show, unless you're a Cowboys fan.

Dez is competitive, and when your abysmal backup QB peppers 8 of 10 targets nowhere near you, it is frustrating. He's in a contract year and wants to prove his worth, and he wants to win. Brandon Weeden isn't good for either goal. He didn't have one catch until the final drive of the game, despite eight targets throughout the game that were thrown all over the place. Bottom line: Weeden is terrible. Dez wasn't the only frustrated player either. Murray, Witten, Terrence Williams and Orlando Scandrick were visibly upset both on the field and on the sidelines too. I think you are blowing this a little out of proportion to further your opinion about Bryant.

Further my opinion. lol. I'm not the only one with that opinion, and it certainly isn't very hard to further it.

None of those things about being competitive are unique to Bryant. Everyone in the NFL is competitive. There is a difference between being competitive and being a prima donna. Bryant is the latter, always has been, and always will be. He's T.O. He can play, but he will always be a distraction when the going gets tough.

No one is saying Weeden isn't terrible. Lots of great WR's have bad QB play all the time. They don't behave like Bryant though. I find defending his actions hilarious. Agree to disagree I guess.

Read on 247 that Newsome will go to UT and Ole Miss on visits, with his parents, sometime in Dec or January.
Sounds like we have a great shot at getting him!

Just like being competitive isn't unique to Bryant, neither is being visibly frustrated by Weeden's embarrassing QB play. Other players on his own team were visibly upset on and off the field too, but you single out Bryant.

We have no idea what he said to Weeden in that video you posted, and even the article was specualtive because they don't know either.

Furthermore, you bring this topic up again several days after the original discussion So, "lol" all you want at the notion of furthering an opinion/agenda, but to bring it up again out of the clear blue with a video of Bryant with his back to the camera making some unidentifiable hand gesture to his QB with no audio or context as proof of him as a headcase is a pretty weak argument, and one that seems fueled by an agenda.

Like you said though, we can agree to disagree. I realize you aren't alone in your opinion on Bryant, but I think using this episode as proof as anything is a pretty big stretch.

Absolutely. They are very similar.

I wasn't sure how much Pig's absence and uncertain future woukd affect us this past offseason, but he has stepped up big time this year. Glad he got his issues fixed, and I hope players like Newsome are taking notice.

Ok, fair enough. I don't have some "agenda" though. I'm not the chairman of the "Dez Bryant is a Bad Person Committee" who is garnering votes to have him suspended or something. It's just my opinion. It's just a discussion on a message board. Nothing more than that.

It's only week 9 though. And it's not this episode alone, but the many others that have preceded it. I wouldn't be surprised to see similar things happen throughout the year, because Romo is far from healthy and that team is going to lose more games like they did on Sunday. Not to mention a certain Derek Dooley is in charge of keeping him under control. It is what it is. I'll leave it alone though.

No problem. On a similar note, I'm not president of the Dez fan club either. I have no problem with you having your opinion even if I don't necessarily agree with it. I won't discount the notion that he could fall off the rails again at any time either. I fully admit that he has had issues in the past, but most of the off-field stuff seems to be under control, at least publicly.

All he wants to do is win. As Chris said, his QB was terrible and couldn't get him the ball. Was Dez doing this when Demarco Murray was getting all of the attention even when they were winning? No.

I have no issues with being demonstrative on the field. Dez's early problems were off the field, and that has calmed down. I don't like him leaving the game early either, but I will continue to say that it his "issues" are still overblown. Just win baby.

Newsome's numbers so far this year:

* Rushing: 82 carries for 783 yards (9.5 ypc) & 8 TDs
* Receiving: 21 catches for 532 yards (25.3 ypc) & 10 TDs
* Passing: 7 of 14 for 175 yards & 2 TDs
* Punt Returns: 14 for 444 yards (31.7 avg) & 7 TDs
* Kickoff Returns: 7 for 286 yards (40.9 avg) & 1 TD
