'15 TN TE Kyle Oliver (UT Signee 2/4/15)

Without any hatred: Bruce and Oliver were my least favorite prospects from last class. I had low expectations. Good luck to both. We will now get stronger.

Did you say that when they committed, or were you booming all over the place? I don't understand to make the statement that they were your least favorite recruits. Did you plan on booing them when they got the ball? Who are your other least favorites?

There is nothing wrong with what he said. He follows recruiting closely and I guarantee you watched film on both. They were both lower rates recruits with less than impressive offer lists.

My question is:

What does this mean for Mosley? If we are sending Oliver home, is Mosley gone too?

I get the feeling he must have had zero tolerance conditions on the blue shirts... Also easier to cut them than a scholarship guy when they mess up. We also don't know the whole story and whether he had been warned already

Individuals with marginal talent don't get to make the mistakes that supremely talented players get to make. That being said I believe things are probably looking up in a big way to our coaches in terms of this recruiting class.

so because he follows recruiting, he gets a free pass to say whatever? I follow cooking shows, but I don't bad mouth a restaurant before I've tried their food.

And I agree with that standard. Even play has his own individual value to the team. When you exceed your value, it's time to go.

What a stupid post.

The number increasing with every player lost is because we're running into the 85 scholarship wall, not the 25 class rule.

If it's about the 85 limit, then we will sign 25 players. Because we're already at 21.

But I think you're wrong here. Most all reports are that we blue shirted multiple players (meaning they count towards 2016 for the 25 rule).

No, Chuck is just going run his ass off for a while. Fwiw, Oliver was with Mosley the other night when he got arrested.

Not worried about this one.

Sign, or deuces.

Bump post from 11/25, for the poster who wanted to call me out.

To answer your question, I do not boo our players, but have an actual opinion on whether a player may succeed or not. I am not a professional, but do not need to be to have an opinion.

I do not bash players, so you probably will not dig up many, if any posts of me doing such. This bump is simply to show that as he was considering other schools after his commitment, I was not concerned, because I did not feel he was a fantastic prospect. You seem to think I am saying it in retrospect, but I did not.

I'm sorry my respectful opinion disagrees with you. Maybe my hatred of long posts on mobile, such as this one, caused you to get hung up on my word, "favorite." I'm not really sure what your issue is with.

I stand by my opinion. Like I said, no hatred intended, and best of luck.

I think a lot of folks on here posted about Bruce and Oliver. Nothing wrong with your post. Many posted that recruits like these guys were a dime a dozen. With the talent we are recruiting, wanting more is to be expected. Bottom line, if you're not a great recruit, you better be great everywhere else...and stay away from the Econo lodge.

Because the weed was Oliver's and Mosley had a contact high? Perhaps Oliver admitted to it. Who knows.

Or perhaps Mosley accepted his punishment, and Oliver didn't. You never know.

I've had it happen before. Two kids get in trouble for the same thing. One kid accepts his punishment and everyone moves on. The other kid wants to blame everyone else and refuses to accept his punishment.
