obviously something went down with some new kids that caused Butch to call that meeting that lead to some heated exchanges. It sounds like some of the kids came in feeling entitled and here to take advantage of the Power T

Was he one of the blueshirts from last class? If so, then that's one more spot for 2016. I bet we definitely take Brooks and Pope now...probably push for Brooks to EE so he can rehab on campus and maybe be ready to go in the fall.

Either way if you are going to win rings you have to run a tight ship. And you can't start out running a loose ship and then tighten it up later, does not work that way.

I'm not sure how "official" that was, but in order to fit the numbers that we had, we had to blueshirt 7 guys. Bruce & Perry had articles written for them about their "sacrifice" in doing so, but maybe a few of the others didn't want that public, so they just signed something else? Could be wrong, but that's about the only way the numbers would fit.

Not saying he's looking to cut people. But if a player seems to be fairly unenthusiastic about playing hard for Tennessee AND gets caught up in some trouble, Butch may not give them much of a second chance to redeem themselves. One-strike policy probably applies if the player seems to be loafing.

Just speculation, of course.

Swafford took a medical...frees up his scholly. The blueshirts in this class were Bruce,Perry and Young.

We need every scholarship that we can free up for next year. If you had to pick a few guys to lose from last year's class Bruce and Oliver would be some of the first names you'd pick. His loss.

Either way we have 20 spots or more for 2016.

If we only blue shirted those 3 and lost 1 (Bruce) then we have 23 spots.

If we blue shirted 7 as many claim and lost 2 (Bruce and Oliver) then we have 20 spots.

Ok...I'm wrong... Guess that wasn't his LOI he faxed in on Signing Day.

It would seem that the kids with blue shirts would walk the line at least until they are on scholarship

Yeah, I watched those faxes too, but apparently there were 7 guys that blueshirted in this class in order to get under the 25-man limit. I guess those just weren't official. Or they only faxed in their financial aid agreements or something.

My question is:

What does this mean for Mosley? If we are sending Oliver home, is Mosley gone too?
