That's a lot of names but 1 is capable after this year. And why are you including Oliver and Brooks? I'm not sure about Branisel, but he could be capable.

Tennessee is seeing another member of its celebrated 2015 signing class exit the program as Butch Jones continues to demand a healthy culture of excellence and personal responsibility.
And, once again, it's an in-state signee whom the Vols, per sources, will help find a new home --- likely at a lower-division program. Tight end Kyle Oliver is no longer with the Tennessee football program.
The 6-foot-4, 226-pound tight end from Murfreesboro Oakland did not comply with team standards, per multiple sources in both the Midstate and on campus.
Oliver does not risk sitting out and could land in-state, potentially at Chattanooga. Louisville also had recruited Oliver out of high school, as did Kentucky among others. Junior college and Western Kentucky also could be optionals.
Last week, fellow '15 signee Joc Bruce and UT parted ways as Bruce handles some academic matters and seeks to find a more comfortable environment for his football future.
Tennessee opens its 2015 pre-season camp Tuesday, and Jones will address media Monday inside Neyland Stadium for his annual pre-season press conference.
If you are talking about only 1 being capable after this year, it would be moronic to not include the incoming guys.
Also, your whole premise is asinine. No one is ever going to have more than 2 "proven" TEs. Of course it is just a list of names.
We'll also have Joe Stocstill, the rJr walk-on who has played meaningful TE/H-back reps the last 2 years.
I have to wonder if Butch is axing anyone who's even remotely not "on board" right now to free up more scholarships for 2016 or 2017. Sounds like he's making it clear that the team has enough depth at this point where no one is safe and no one gets a free pass anymore, and that scholarships are too valuable to waste on someone who isn't all in.
Either that or Kyle dun goofed big time and Butch has no choice but to drop him.
