15 TN QB Matt Williams

I'd rather have a Nick Marshall type than just a "reasonably athletic" QB.

Nick Marshall is not a great passer. His athleticism happens to work in Auburn's system. But I want someone in between. There are very few who are elite at both.

Its a PG year he graduates early this kid is investing in getting better and furthering his education and you are mad at that?Kids a gamer big arm and alot of swagger should be fun!Its a great program it just sent 3 star WR Corey Cooper to Syracuse and 4 star WR Roger Lewis to BG.Matt will play a Juco, college JV,prep school schedule hope thats good enough competition for you guys

from my highly untrained eye, young Mr Williams seems to have a very good arm from his HUDL highlight film and didn't Cut give him an offer too ?I do have to say i like Cutcliffe's evaluations of QBs,he does know good QBs

Good enough for me. I hope he does well and becomes a Vol. Thanks for the info and Good luck to Matt!

If I were Matt, I would not play around if I really wanted to be a Vol. IF the coaches would take his commitment now(which I think they would offering this early), committing now would be the wise thing to do. All it would take is for (1) other QB to decide to commit to UT and he could quickly be pushed to the back burner. JMO

He's not graduating early...this is his 4th year of high school...and next year will make 4 schools in 5 years.

What does PG mean?

Volinsmyrna- You are misinformed and need to stop posting false information

So we are trying to re-write history now?

2010 Season - Lancaster
2011 Season - Father Ryan
2012 Season - Blackman
2013 Season - Lancaster

He tried to reclassify himself as a Junior this year along with another kid that left Blackman. Since Lancaster is not a TSSAA school, it doesn't matter. This is/was his 4th year of high school.

Add to the fact he went to 2 different Middle Schools for 7th and 8th...he hasn't been at the same school back to back years since the 6th grade.

Video interview with Brice on VQ. Talked about what all he's trying to work on. His feet, quickness, and release. When Brice asked him what all schools are standing out to him, he replied "it doesn't matter, I'm all UT! Go big Orange!"

Sounds like the staff gave this kid the yield sign and is awaiting on decisions from Stidham, Nunez, Gibson, Lock, and Gentry.

LOL.

Can't wait until this becomes the standard within our borders again.

Soon...

I just watched the video and he's the loudest silent commit I've seen lol

I also thought it was interesting he said that Jon Richt, Mark's son, is the QB coach at the D1 facility there in Franklin, TN where all the IFM guys workout. I found this write-up on him.

Jon Richt to spear-head QB Country at D1 Nashville - QB Country
