The part about the new Tahoe doesn't surprise me one bit. I've heard from multiple people that Ole Miss helped hook DR up with a car but something is fishy here. So it was Richmond that initiated the contact with UT not the other way around. Then Notorious said this

Makes me wonder if there's genuine interest or DR is trying to pull some shenanigans and get a bidding war going.

Hopefully the coaches don't get fooled and stay away, I agree not worth the risk even though he is a position of great need. Would rather not have trouble down the road.

In Butch I trust. The man oozes integrity. I'm sure that, if there's any substance whatsoever to all of these rumors, Butch will make the right call. If not, he'll take this kid. The NCAA has already established the precedent that the kid is eligible even if his own father opens a bidding war, provided the team he signs with did not participate.

If Butch wants this kid, then so do I.

He needs a Prius not a Tahoe if he's driving all the way to Knoxville all the time, solid move by Ole Miss to give him a low gas mileage car to help the distance factor. Very smart.

Whatever it is it had to be something big. Butch isn't one to back off a kid he has made a top priority at a key position and in state. Yet he backed off real quick after his last visit. You don't go from top of the board with HC recruiting you personally to not sending coaches to see him besides Elder doing a routine checkup at the school one time. Unless we have been recruiting in full stealth mode which is nearly impossible these days

So Butch or any booster associated w/ UTK has not gave any "benefits" to recruits that visited since he was hired?

I know Freeze was involved with Oher (was his HS coach) but then if he's receiving THAT treatment, why would he be a threat to flip to us?

unless he could drive the Rebel Tahoe to run over Deviner's fat arse all the way to inking his papers to Knoxville?

Just back of and let the NCAA pull into the parking lot of Ole Miss behind Richmond Tahoe, I would stay away from this kid, We are TENNESSE we don't have to cheat to get to the top like a lot of schools like Ole Miss, our name TENNESSEE sells its self to most.:rock:
