I trust the coaches more than I do anonymous posters on a mb who vaguely tap around supposed indiscretions. Vol, not a Vol, all that will be known on NSD in a few weeks. Whatever the coaches decide, I trust they've done their due diligence. It's what they're paid to do.

Character concerns for a 17 year old? I mean cmon. This decision will dictate their entire life... Don't judge a kid by how he acts during the recruiting process. Judge his character when he becomes an adult and has matured.

You have to understand how hard it will be for a kid like Preston Williams who has been a stud his whole life to redshirt. I went thru a similar situation with an injury and was forced to redshirt. I hadn't missed a play in my entire life and I hated every minute of it.

I don't understand why people would bash Preston Williams or Drew Richmond before there's anything public that they've done. Peyton Manning had a mooning incident during his time here and he's regarded as classy, respectable, etc. They're 17 or 18 years old, don't judge their character when we don't have anything conclusive.

Let me ask again, do you know either kid? Have you talked to them face to face? Have you sat them down and had a heart to heart? I'm guessing our coaches have, and they think at least one of these young men will fit the team. Time will tell on the other, but unless you have firsthand insight on either, I fail to see you having anything to back up your assertions.

Aren't some of our recruits still trying to recruit him? I keep hearing about this player or that player tweeting with him to come to UT. If that's the case, which I'm sure some of you more educated in social media could check, then at least some of our players are okay with him coming here. I doubt the majority of the team really cares and will go with whatever coaches decide.

Why cant you spill the beans on what other players have told you? You do a drive by and beat around the bush about a lot of things you say. Its all here say until you say what the kid has done or you know nothing and pretend you do. That's the bottom line. YOUR MOVE!!!

any examples of shadiness? Im not doubting. Just curious as to what this could be.

Or are we still talking about the whole, recruiting players to Ole Miss while on a visit?

Ole Mi$$ may have baited him with money and he may or may not have took it,we have no proof. I don't think this coaching staff would stoop to this level or let anybody associated with this University to do it either. If this young man has shown shadiness in the past then let Coach Jones put him on the right path.
