“I mean, anything can happen,” said Richmond, who expects Jones to attend his home game Friday night against St. Benedict at Auburndale High School of Cordova, Tenn. “Something wild can happen. Coach could get a new job — anything. I just don’t want to get put in a bad situation, so that’s why I’m taking all my visits.

“Like I said, anything can happen. I’m just being practical about it.”

Haha. I was afraid somebody was going to accuse me of fabricating that. I would freak if this were one of our elite commitments saying these things.

Guys, we are in the thick of it for Drew, we always have been. This one is going to be tough. Drew really clicks with a lot of the UT players and coaches. His dad really likes Butch. His GF attends UT. We have a lot of good things working for us. On the flip side. Ole Miss has some things that are going to be tough to overcome.

There are some family things that i'm not going to talk about on a public forum that make you understand why Ole Miss is an attractive option all things considering. Can't fault Drew for choosing Ole Miss based on his situation. He is a good kid.

Battle until signing day for this dude and I hope his momma lets him choose for himself. I'm sure Butch will be on his case relentlessly. I am getting the feeling everyone else is and I hope we are right... I mean he has a way better chance of playing at UT than UM.

It's not just about his Mom. Also, if you were his mom, and you knew more about what I'm talking about, you would understand why his mom prefers Ole Miss as well. I don't believe Ole Miss is the best choice for Drew's Career, but he will end up a very good player at either school. I do believe Drew will be happier at UT with his friends and GF etc....but this situation isn't as cut and dry as that. Trust me, Drew and his family don't have an easy decision, and honestly i think either choice will work out for Drew.

And he graduated high school in 1994 at East Ridge and all of a sudden is now a student at UT that participated in the FU Florida chants. Check his post history. Certified liar

Seeing as I dont "know what you know" I'll stick to my words and see how it goes. I Hope he goes where he wants and not where his family wants him to go and I'll end it at that. :hi:

I think there is some info out there about what i'm referring too, but out of respect for his family and the situation, i don't feel comfortable talking about it on a public forum. You may be able to find out what i'm talking about somewhere in this long thread, i think.

Well I'm not gonna go digging for it and not gonna a beg you to tell it so we will leave it at that. I understand situations are different for multiple people but, like I said above, I hope drew richmond goes to the school that drew Richmond likes and if that's ole miss then I'm fine with it and if that's UT then I'm extra fine with it :eek:k: . Either way he will be a great player.

Uhm, okay? I lived with my uncle and made this account. He would get on and look under my name and posted during the Von Bell situation. I now go to UT, and just started posting for the F U Florida chant. I have nothing to prove to you though soooo I don't care.

Twice now that Richmond has mentioned if he come there Thomas moves to center. Please please come here poor Coleman on an island isn't fair. Let Coleman redshirt to get stronger and take over at center after crowder and Weisman are gone

I believe that when Orlando Brown flipped to OK, that changed the strategy of the staff. We had no true LT on the roster but Blair. If Blair played this year, that would leave him one year to play. We would then be forced to start a RS Freshman at LT. The coaching staff is planning for the future as opposed to right now.
