Kids got potential I actually coached against him in basketball when he was a eighth grader and he was huge then but was suprisenly agile and coordinated for a kid that big the only thing that's a knock against him is poor poor competition is single a football the only time he will play against better more athletic players is playoffs but players with skill sets and size like that his coach would be doing him a favor of scheduling him some harder games nothing to crazy but like a Kingston or lenoir city also he needs to show out at camps but hopefully he does and earns a scholly

I believe they play Knox Grace (?), Harriman, Oneida & Greenback...all quality programs.

This kid is a great talent, and a very hard worker. The only drawback is the competition he faces week in and week out playing single a football. BUT I believe this kid is a SEC caliber football player and with a red-shirt can get quality playing time early in his career. Look for a Vol offer sooner than later.

Didn't know we had a English professor on volnation...

We got us DUZENS of'em!!!

.........but I do agree that some posts are hard to read and need some "Red Ink" to help us understand them better.

Remember Shuler and Pickens played 1a ball.

Yep. It's all about showing out at camps and combines. It's hard to gauge the talent of a kid like Stewart until you match him up with kids of similar size and athleticism.

However, it is impressive that he can dominate on a HS football field as a Soph, even if it is 1A.

Coalfield has lacked schedule toughness for years but not this coming year. They have changed the whole process around and scheduled quality teams during regular season which will also help them during playoffs.

My son, Steven, lined up against Zach at the Atlanta U100 last June. In my opinion, Zach was definitely the best OL out of the bunch (NUC listed him as second, behind a kid named Alec Shriner).

Steven, too, placed 2nd as a DL.

Anyways, I've got video of Zach and Steven squaring off. Pretty cool stuff.

Thanks for the video. Welcome to the board. Is your son a UT fan?

Steven's in the Class of 2015. He's received mail from Tennessee, Michigan, Notre Dame, Troy, MTSU, UAB, Auburn, and Southern Miss. His HS coach has talked to Lance Thompson now at Alabama. I've spoken with Brent Brock at MTSU.

We're going to the Tennessee OL/DL camp June 1st. No invite, we're just gonna show up. MTSU invited Steven to their Big Man camp the following week.
