'15 TN DE Kyle Phillips (UT commit 1/3/15)

Would rather go home alone then with a whale. Or a 3*

You don't think Chavis leaving had anything to do with it at all...?

I was mostly referring to the story that we began trending big time on Friday. Before then it seems like Ole Miss was making a big move. Chavis leaving and having Kmac/Kirkland in his ear the whole week were positive factors as well I'm sure.

TEN UP from Army All American Game.
#1. Kyle Phillips DE
Nashville (Tenn.) Hillsboro
https://tennessee.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1723525

It was a consistently dominant week for the 6-foot-3, 257-pound Phillips, whose five tackles, including three for loss and a sack, likely would have earned him MVP honors had the East come back and won. The Tennessee commit was essentially unblockable during the game, but even throughout the week he was a top performer in practices, showing a combination of quickness, strength at the point of attack and lateral agility.

Phillips named the #1 player that improved his stock the most.

Eazy do these EEs sign their LOIs early? I always assumed they did. Thanks guys!

No, they aren't allowed to sign their LOI's early (NSD is the first day that's allowed) but early enrollees do sign a financial aid agreement that allows the coaching staff unlimited contact with the recruit afterwards and guarantees them a spot in the recruiting class.

Once the EE recruit shows up and attends class, they are then locked into the school and cannot back out without facing typical NCAA transfer rules. :hi:
