Isn't the whole purose of stars to evaluate how soon they think a player can contribute, not how good they can be? If that's the case I think EE should add at least half a star and put us at the #1 class in the nation haha
Those idiots don't know how to evaluate or project guys. Some should be impact evaluations while others should be for guys with enormous potential. Funny thing is they don't know what the hell they are looking for. I questioned the 247 head guy(Simmons right?). Anyways I asked him specifically why he had Marlon Humphrey as a 5 star kid when he needed to redshirt and learn how to play the ball. Also brought up him not being physical in the running game. I asked how was he the No.1 CB at that time. He couldn't explain a thing. They are all mostly clowns outside of the news they get on recruiting.
He's already looking like a bad azz. Opposing QBs are going to hate seeing him.
Needs to pationately hit the weight room but all the other tools are there. Love this kid because as good as he is guys he doesn't even realize it. He was brainwashed to think he was a basketball player until we got him. The future is so bright for him once he has been taught and tweaked by Strip plus real weight training. CAN'T WAIT CAN'T WAIT *Bart Scott voice*

21. Kyle Phillips, DE, Nashville (Tenn.) Hillsboro ***Big Mover***
Rating: 98
Previous 247Sports rank: 107
Commitment: Tennessee
One of the real revelations of the Army Bowl, Phillips had some of the longest arms in San Antonio and he was also one of the best edge rushers at 6-3.5, 250 pounds. As an early enrollee at Tennessee, we think youll see him early and often in Neyland Stadium next fall.
