Agree 100%. Best thing CBJ could do is just flat out say that any recruit tied to Byron will NOT be signing with Tennessee. At least kids then know that the chubby one would cost them that chance.

I remember after a Vols game last year Deandre Ferby (former teammate of McGraw) tweeted Rico would end up going to Tennessee.

He has been on campus numerous time throughout his HS career. Something never added up with me on his recruitment. It has to be Devinner.

Just talked to Kyle Phillips mom.

Kyle hurt his shoulder last night but should play in title game. She told me CBJ will be in her home tomorrow. The rumor htat she favors LSU is not correct. The family really likes Vols. The OV will be huge for CBJ. Kyle is open so it is up to CBJ to reel him in.

My aunt seems to have a favorite.... But I wont tip my hat towards her favorite..... Its ultimately Kyle's decision. But I think we are in great shape to land him at UT..... I heard that they will host CBJ at the house on monday. We will see what CBJ can do! I hope he can close.... We are in it I will say that for sure........

Haha... I do not think Kyle is a silent to any school.--Actually, I am sure of that...I told him I needed to be one of the first to know...lol. I am pushing him to UT for sure....! My grandfather,cousin and I want him at UT. He is focused on winning a state championship for Hillsboro. Then I think he will commit to THE school. My family and I all have favorite teams.--Its similar to his final 3 teams too. I have a very strong idea where he is not going out of the three final schools.

IIRC KP was one of the players who wanted to see progress by the Vols, and that was going to weigh into his decision on where he committed.

* A second consecutive top 10 recruiting class, possibly top 5
( Improvement in talent that would play with KP)

* 6 Wins this season
( Played all our competition tough this year)

* Best DT class coming in the whole county
( Everyone can see this D is gonna be special )

* We are going bowling
( The payoff for hard work put in by this young team )

Just to name a few things. Butch gonna do the in home with Kyle's family. I think they see what they need to see and KP is a VOL.

I have not followed Kyle Phillips recruitment to much so please forgive this question which I assume has been discussed at length on here. If Kyle and Dylan both refuse to play offense are they still both takes? We are in decent shape at DE compared to OT so I'm just curious. I know the standard is to sign and then convince them to switch but it seems this won't fly with Phillips and maybe not with Dylan.
