A great education, a great football program, and right outside of San Francisco. It would be hard to turn them down unless it was for UT.

Kyle was in town with his dad today and really liked the visit. He said it was good to be back on campus and just content to build that relationship.

One interesting note is that he was basically with coach Jones the whole day. Phillips said he knew how much of a priority he is to Tennessee and Jones really let him know that today."

"It was pretty good. It was good," Phillips said. "I just got to spend more time with the coaches than at a football game. But, ever during the season the coaches are pretty good at talking to recruits then even though they are getting ready for a game."

"It means that I'm one of their top people and that if I go there I can help turn things around and help bring in more people like that," Phillips said. "They just kept telling me they need playmakers and things like that. Right now, they said they are limited with playmakers. They said they really aren't able to do what they want to do yet and they have been running a different defense. They need playmakers and he believes that I am one and he thinks he can help me improve and be a better playmaker."

"I got to spend more time with coach Strip so that was good and I just got to be around everybody," Phillips said.

"There are a few schools I like more than others but I'm not really 100 percent certain so that's what I'm really trying to focus on over the summer, narrowing it down to five schools that I really want to get to know," Phillips said.

Did an interview with scout. He is handling it very similar to how Malone did last year. Wide open right now, will visit everywhere and then makes a top schools list. Had nice things to say about a lot of schools, but no one stood out in those things
