'15 TN ATH Vincent Perry (UT commit 10/8/14)

I feels for you Leb, I know your head must be exploding at every turn. SO MANY NUMBERS lol.

The key is to forget what you said 15 seconds after saying it when it comes to numbers. Maybe that is why I keep repeating the same things. I forgot I just said it. :detective:

I'm gonna say that Butch blue shirts Lovingood and Townsend. They haven't OV'd and we haven't heard anything about them visiting soon.

And yes I know, we heard all the blue shirt talk for the '14 class and it didn't pan out. This would open 2 spots in this class and takes away 2 for the '16 class. Just have to be more selective in 2016.

Possibly Bruce too? I made fun of BS last year but it seems like a necessity this year.

Lol this kid is nothing like DY. Way more advanced at this stage than DY ever was. Y'all keep putting him down though...

And when tOSU and LSU offers in the next month....

I constantly worried about number last cycle, but sure enough, they worked out. I'm just going to sit back and enjoy the ride.

Is he a good enough talent at baseball that he could sign, if drafted and not play college ball?

Perry's gained almost 1,000 yards so far this season (6 games) and he's not even completely healthy yet...not bad.

"I just see the potential for winning up in Knoxville and I just want to be a part of it," said Perry, who describes himself as a life-long Vols fan. "I believe in everything (Butch Jones) is doing with the program, and I want to be part of something special."

The 5-11, 170-pound Perry, who transferred to Hillsboro from Pope John Paul II and was forced to sit out most of last season, chose Tennessee over scholarship offers from Kentucky, Illinois State, Mercer, Tennessee State and Chattanooga.

Perry, who underwent surgery to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament in February, has piled up 982 total yards and 13 touchdowns for the unbeaten Burros this season, despite missing his team's season opener against Rossview.

"He's getting close to 100 percent," Hillsboro head coach Craig Clayton said. "He's not there yet, but he's close."

Hillsboro's Perry knows Tennessee is on the right track

I don't know man. I am no film expert, but DY's HS film looked like a mini Barry Sanders on the field. The kid was wide open on every play. His film was sick, IMO.

DY did have some awesome HS film, there is no doubt about that. He didn't face as good of competition as Perry does though. I never thought DY was going to be an All-American for us but I did think he was going to be much better in the return game than he has been.
