I understand what your saying and I tend to agree with you. Just don't think we can take more than three wr in this class. Preston Williams is a damn good one to have tho.

If the coaches saw him in camp and think he is good to go, let's get it! Instate, bleeds Orange, don't toy with the kid. Who knows, maybe IF he is a RB, the staff likes the idea of him having 4-5 years vs less for Kamara. If he is a CB, maybe they saw enough to take the sure thing now vs letting it play out with another instate kid in Ordway. The coaches just saw Justin Martin in camp, maybe he has not progressed as they had hoped? Then the offer goes out to Bruce. There is a slot spot open IMO along side Williams IF WR is in play. IF the offer came, hope he is a Vol quickly. Would be a dream come true for this young man.

I hope it is an offer the kid can accept. We need this type of heart on the Vols. This is a kid that not gonna be stopped when the game is on the line. I love kids that bleed orange and have enough talent to build on. The Nick Reveiz type.

They showed very short soundbites from both him and his mom. His mom seemed like she was on cloud 9. Bruce's reaction seemed like he was still in a state of shock and disbelief (in a very happy, excited way though, kind of in awe of the fact that he just got an offer from UT).

Yeah, he tweeted earlier that his Mom had been crying since he got back home and she heard. Also, said he just wishes his grandmother were around to see it and how she'd be so proud. That kind of kid is just special.

So proud and happy for him.

Yup, I agree. Just hope it's not another "offer" saying they will keep an eye on him. There are about 250 of those out there and don't mean much.
