Pregame thoughts: Bruce Pearl faces what I consider to be the biggest test of his Tennessee coaching career today as the nation's top-ranked team visits Knoxville. Kansas has been at the top of the polls for the entire season, and for good reason. This team is stacked.

The Vols, as I'm sure most people know, are not stacked at the moment. Six scholarship players. That's all UT has left. On paper this is as big of a mismatch as Bruce Pearl's program has faced since his first season.

For the Vols to have any chance today, Wayne Chism has to stay on the floor. If he gets in foul trouble, consider the Vols done. Cole Aldrich will have no problem dominating Chism's back-ups, so the senior has to play smart.

It doesn't end there, though. Even if Chism can stay on the floor, the Jayhawks still present match-up problems all over the floor. Can Bobby Maze keep All-American Sherron Collins in check? Do the Vols have anyone to match up with freshman phenom Xavier Henry's athleticism?

My gut reaction to those questions is a resounding no, but we'll find out soon enough. My pick: Kansas 90-72.

With all the upsets that happened over the last few days if UT wins where do you think we end up in the rankings?

OMG they said be right back with more from NY so obviously this is taking 2 minutes. And i think we are wearing white Jersyes, they are under the black shirts.
