'15 NC RB Rocky Reid (Wake Forest commit)

Actually I never liked Bourqe. Or cross

Well I'll take a wait and see approach. No one really knows what the coaches are thinking here, but I'll let them handle it.

Just remember though, this isn't Ncaa Football on Xbox. You don't just go after the 4s and 5 stars. Some kids are actually mis-evaluated.

CBJ and company signed (17) 3* kids in 2014 while choosing to take those 3* kids over many 4* options. Anyone who thinks the *'s mean anything to the coaches just don't get it. I seriously doubt CBJ has ever sat around the recruiting table discussing recruits with his coaches and the *'s these kids are rated by some service has ever been mentioned once.

My point was that a lot people only look at stars and most of those that do are the younger generation. I'm guessing the average age of those are probably 15 to 22. The reasoning behind that guess is that 99% of them have played the Ncaa Football games where you load up on 5 stars and they all turn out perfect.

Kiffin goes for the *s regardless of what the other values or problems of the recruit..

I think the recruiting forum demographics disagree with you.

This dude is a steal.

Last year as a Junior, 432 carries, for 3355 yards (7.8 a carry) and 39 touchdowns. 209 yards a game.

Two weeks ago, Reid had 34 carries and 213 yards and 2 TD's.

This past week, he had about 230 yards and 3 TD's.

May be the most under rated and over looked recruit in this class. Putting up some serious numbers!

He may be great but I wouldn't base it on HS numbers. They are very close to meaningless in most cases.

And I would agree. But I'd be a whole lot more concerned if he wasn't putting up big numbers. This makes me feel better about his commitment.

Plus, I like to see our guys having big years statistically. Makes us look even better recruiting.

But I agree, a high school defense, and Alabama's defense are world's apart.

I hope he doesn't get 400 carries again though. That's a lot of carries for a HS RB. I love Reid's game and think he will be a very good back for us.

In Concord's game Saturday Reid rushed for 217 yards & 3 TDs on 44 carries. While Central Cabarrus gave up a 65-yard TD run they actually did a good job overall of slowing down Reid, holding him to 3.5 yards per carry on his 43 other totes.

Sounds like Hurd. He played against Mount Juliet and I thought our guys pretty much held him in check. On the way home radio show had him at almost three hundred yards.

I agree he is the most under rated RB in this class! So glad he is a VFL and I believe he will be one of the best at the next level.

VFL Rocky cannot wait to see you tote the ball in Neyland Stadium

We can't lose this guy. Dude is the real deal. I still want to add a Love or Frasier to this class, but not at the expense of losing Reid. Reid is going to be a solid RB for us one day; he looks a whole lot like Montario Hardesty when he runs.

Reid somewhat reminds me of JoJo Kemp. We really could use him right now, could have easily gotten him too.
