Wisconsin running backs coach Thomas Brown and Georgia Tech assistant Bryan Cook stopped at Concord (NC) to check on Tennessee 3-star RB commitRocky Reid. Reid committed to the Volunteers last month and remains a solid pledge. Per a source, Reid is leaning towards taking an official visit to Wisconsin in the fall. Its unsure if he'll do the same to Georgia Tech as well.

He may not be quite the size of Bettis, but not many backs are. I was just looking at some if his photos on 247 and he definitely has the frame to add weight. He reminds me a lot of Eddie Lacy.

Good comparison. I just hope we don't see another 400 carries, and if we do I hope he redshirts.

I'm hoping he gets to either way. That many carries in high school absurd. It looks like we'll have a good group of running backs in the coming years though, so nobody should get too worn down.

It's always an advantage when we can go to another back. It's a great way to wrinkle up our offense. Imagine a smash and dash combo with a twist.

Rocky has hit 400 each of the last two years.

This is one of the most ridiculously low ratings I've ever seen for a recruit.. Never seen anyone with such a great/ridiculous film have such an absurdly low ranking.. He must not pay rivals or 247 at all. This dude is super elite.

Compare Rocky's tape to anyone in the country an tell me he's not a top 50 rb.. Freaking disgraceful..

Griddie said D. Scott and R. Reid were just throwing haymakers left and right in the state championship game last year. Scott would bust loose, then Reid would, rinse, repeat...

Edit- Or were you saying that they played against each other in the state championship game?
