'15 NC RB Rocky Reid (Wake Forest commit)

Reminds me of Todd Gurley. Very strong runningback. Glad to hear he has a high work ethic. Jones will take 4 and 5 stars but the guys getting on the field early for us are the high work ethic kids and they do this 247.

Top Performer Day 2 Shrine Bowl...

"It was a superb day for Reid, who showed great speed and terrific power during both practice sessions. Overall, he was probably the most consistent performer on the North Carolina team, even outshining higher-ranked teammate Johnny Frasier, at least for one day. Reid has good vision and if he gets into the open field, he's quick enough to pull away and not get caught. As the week rolls along it will be interesting to see if the Tennessee commit keeps it up."

Wish he was still an EE.

Getting Reid and Love as our freshman backs for this class would be awesome. Would be Gurley/Marshall esque.

I'm sure the coaches are hearing about his work ethic and how he's showing out during these practice sessions. I really hope we are able to keep this kid. Sounds like the type of kid you want in your program.

I have been saying this from the beginning. Rocky will be a great RB at UT. You a$$ clowns who where bashing Rocky need to stop! He has been a committed to UT for a long time and everyone should be behind him all the way.

Great to have you Rocky! Go VOLS!

The west side guy is the main one that was going insane on Reid in every thread for no reason. He seems to have disappeared; transfer maybe? Lol

He noticed a flaw in Austin Kendall's delivery...he's poring over his old Pee Wee films in search of a solution. :matrix:

seems to be a very different opinion, than some on the site.....very nice comments from someone who has no agenda

Be careful...Woody seems to have had an agenda with a few of our commits over the years...pretty sure Preston Williams is one of them.

I would Like to keep him.

Brent and Paul are convinced the staff is going to part ways with Reid. IMO with Scott gone that is risky. It certainly sounds like he's proving himself so far this week against some big-time talent. They need at least 3 Backs in this class now, and I wouldn't trust a commit from a guy like Bussey for a second. He's the kind who could easily flip on signing day and leave you screwed.

The only back that may be better tha rsid in the state is Love. And they are different backs. But i want both to go with kamara. Eric was right about the Gurley and Marshall comparison. very simmilar on both accounts.

Does anyone have any idea why the staff would want to part ways with Reid? Is it because of visits after his commit, or they think they could land someone better?

They are talking like Bussey is going to be a Vol this weekend. Very risky take IMO just based on how his recruitment has gone so far and having the overbearing parent and all.

From my perspective you keep Reid, and send the limo and/or tank to Bryce Love's home. Sell the Gurley Marshall thing. Montreal is right Bussey is risky. Just dont get good vibes.
