I tend to think both Bruce and Perry fit that Pig role as well. Need 3 in a class? I'm not so sure. Also have to factor in RDAIV who would also fit that role for the 2015 season.

It seems like since Dobbs opened up that option the staff is leaning more towards speed. I'd prefer a punishing bruising running attack but I wonder if we aren't focusing on the finesse angle.

With this system we can finesse and power. Auburn runs a power running game out of the spread, but you can also finesse it with speed getting to the edges. Best of both worlds.

I thought that for a while as well. With rumors seeming to be that UT may try and take Martin, Griffin, Amadi, and Abernathy in the defensive backfield, I think Bruce may stick on offense. I think Perry may transition to CB better, but once again I could see him being a weapon on offense in the slot and a situational RB.

I agree and Hurd is that guy for now. I just mean it seems like since Dobbs has taken off speed in recruiting seems to be heating up as well. With Ugo (returner) and Love as examples.

I think both are being brought on as exceptional athletes and we will figure out a spot for them if nothing changes.

Gillespie probably saw what he wanted. Love team won. Here is part of a news article.



Bryce Love, who suffered a shoulder injury last week, made an instant impact for the Cougars, taking a shovel pass from Mack Moore and curling around the left side before sprinting up the sideline for a 90-yard score midway through the first quarter.

Love would break away for another score in the fourth quarter to put the Cougars out of reach. He finished with 228 yards on 16 carries

I sure hope so. I've been a bussey fan throughout this cycle, but I'm beginning to see the light on Love. It would be a game changer to have a playmaker like this.

Same thing I said in the Newsome thread. Seems like Love is a big priority for this staff. Why is 247 not even recognizing Tenn as a contender? What am I missing? I feel like based on the feedback I've seen from him we are in the top 2 for him!

Maybe your talking the national site because 247 vol site has been clear its Stanford or TN with TN favorite due to distance and relationship
