Delusion is when a team has 102,455 show up for a season opener with forecast of rain; supporting their team, and then have a few simpletons trashing our fans and trying to act like they are so superior because they can say hurtful things about, and to, other people.

Good grammar is preferable, but using bad grammar is not a character trait; hateful, hurtful remarks simply because someone makes grammatical errors shows lack of character.

It is easy to find fault in others, but it becomes much more difficult to point them out if we take the time for an honest look in the mirror at our own deficiencies.

As a Vol fan, I prefer to encourage everyone to support our team and our true fans.

Can you imagine being a recruit and attending a game with 102,455 screaming fans one weekend and then going to a stadium the next weekend that has an absolute capacity of 63,000?

It’s a safe bet to use us in this scenario. I know most of the circles I know would agree. Not sure your point here unless just trying to provoke the guy.

My point is...We're not one BIG HAPPY SHINY PEOPLE on here! You have something to contribute?...by all means SHARE...but make sure it's in English...or translatable Farsi...the suspected insider who got this discussion started didn't meet that standard ...I think the posters who said "huh?" :wtf?" and similar are the actual majority... Not the hippie teacher from Beavis and Butthead.

Even UNC fans acknowledge that they can't compete with us in terms of game day atmosphere...Their only chance is to appeal to his sense of in-state loyalty and some of their fans believe that his mom prefers UNC (although I haven't seen any proof of that and that kind of rumor is common). In the past they would have worked the academic angle hard but we have a response to that in light of their recent scandal.

Thats why i have only been a reader and not a poster for a few years. I was always affraid I would get crusified if I posted something someone didnt like but I have realized that their are more level headed Vol fans than jerks!:lolabove:

Well i gots my edgumacashun at sum oftha brest pubic schools in tenasee and i admit i am jus a dum ole counry boy. Really who cares if somebody misspells a word or not. I come on here to learn about my Vols and how things are going with the team. I do not claim to be a Rhodes Scholar, I just want to know if Darr can punt this week. There is no need to dog people out, maybe it makes you feel superior (This is not aimed at anyone in particular), but just come here and enjoy the joke and Girls of Arky State thread. Love and Respect for all my VN brothers and sister. GBO BEAT ARKY STATE.

No one cares if the average poster misspells A WORD on here... It's when they misspell the ENTIRE POST...including the words THE and A...Usually when a poster misspells a bigger word, they'll get a humorous jab from someone that notices....autocorrects and fat thumbs get the best of all of us...I ellipse like hell on my posts...dare somebody to stop me...but when you terrypedigo or 0stargeneral all over a post like it was a Jackson Pollock painting?... You learn or you don't...run to your Mammy crying about the mean people on Volnation calling you stupid...if she has an ounce of parenting instinct, she tells you "Stop being stupid then Punkin". :cray:

It seems pretty certain, from your attitude, that it will certainly not be you treating any lepers, or anyone else.

Concern for others, based on your comments, is not something you do.

I just hope you never find yourself needing compassion.
