Texas fans did...they were in his top 3 and just lost Michael Irvin's nephew in a flip to Auburn...they're also freaking out about our latest # 3 ranking.

Just looked at the 247 board and see Tennessee at 3. That's something, under Davis they have 2 "signature" wins against a horribly overrated SC team in 13 and 14. One would think that NCAA needs to buckle down or open the doors wide open for pay to play.

When teams have recent success overt cheating isn't all that necessary to draw in top recruits. More than a few standout overachievers this year.

LOL at the "Davis"...funny that the wrong Butch is getting accused of something. :wink2:

Those comments show how much the poster really keeps up with football. Everyone offers fringe benefits to some extent...we all agree on that. The poster doesn't even know the difference between the 2 Butches, and he can't even tell when a program has significant momentum and is on the upward trend. Some kids are followers and don't mind following a program that's already been built and maintaining it. Others want to build it themselves...if they can see the program is trending in that direction with the right leadership to get it there, then they want to be a part of the building process and cement their own legacy. It just depends on what your mindset is as a person and player.

He posted this pic as his 'story' on SnapChat right after he flipped to Auburn:

Not suprised his name is bunghole with comments like that

Uncle is Michael Irvin. Said he got graduation money from aunt and uncle but did not specify which aunt and uncle. But Michael Irvin could spare that change.

I could almost buy that arguement, if it weren't for the fact that every recruiting cycle we seem to get at least one twitter pic of an Auburn commit flashing a wad of money. I would think by now the coaches would have come to their senses and asked recruits to stop doing that. Be honest, you know it raises questions.

Why would they want recruits to stop advertising it? You actually believe the NCAA will do anything to Auburn? Schools have gotten wise in the past few years, kids are the only ones getting paid these days.
