That's one helluva a backup plan. Allen is a better prospect as a LT than Richmond is. I think we would've been all over recruiting this kid even if Richmond was committed to us.
Do you really think Allen is a better Prospect at Tackle than Richmond or like me pissed of that he was try to recruit our commits to Ole Piss when he came here every other Saturday trying to pull them to Ole Piss.:banghead2:

I'd agree with most of that. Richmond for sure will be on the right side at Ole Miss for the foreseeable future with Tunsil on the left.Allen is the best OT we have been on from day 1. He is a natural LT. St. Louis is a good LT prospect as well. Richmond would have eventually played LT here, but I think he starts out at RT no matter where he goes. That's the course of action many teams take these days. Start a very promising OT at RT and then move him to LT after a few years. Texas A&M is notorious for this. So, with that said, Hall/Jones may fit this bill for us down the road. Neither are ready to play LT in the SEC, but maybe after a few years at RT, they can move to LT and be effective.
At this point, I'd take Allen and St. Louis over anyone on our board, outside Martin. If we ended today with Allen, St. Louis, and Martin, we'd be set going forward.
Outside of Rivals, the other services don't have that much love for Richmond. Jones is a higher rated tackle than Richmond on some services (247 for sure).
"It shows me how consistent they are," Allen said. "The guys they are bringing in is going to be something special at Tennessee. I can see the coaches and players pulling off big things there the next several years."
It's the family environment," Allen said. "(Georgia and Tennessee) both have great coaching staffs. Both of them are family environments. I just felt like I was a part of a family at Tennessee. The coaches really care about their players. They worried about developing men and not just players. It's nice to see how they care about one another."
