With the dts we have in this class, aj leaving and the way our ends are playing i have to think that we could pull an elite mlb. Just send them tape of kmac and tuttles film and a flyer of ajs stats and its in the bag. Youd be crazy to not see the potential youd have coming here.

Cherry is good he is a beast…… but if he doesn't want to he here then I say adios muchachos…he can go play for texas (not the real UT) we will do just fine without him. Goodluck to the young man!! !! #GBO

I've never seen a UT commitment flip after such a long time before. It's unusual especially considering his ties to Tennessee. There is a lot going on with this recruitment that we must not know about...However, Kirkland for Cherry seems like a pretty even trade if that's how it shakes out.

His recruitment tells me the Texas boosters and bagmen are onboard with CCS. Good luck to Cherry. We'll bring in a bigger fish.

Honestly, from an unbiased standpoint, I think he'd be a better fit in the SEC. He'll struggle playing Baylor, Ok State, Texas Tech, and even what Oklahoma does. Unless he really works on pass coverage and agility.

This is such and odd recruitment. He's seemingly been so solid for such a long time, and we've produced a pretty good overall product on D this year on the field. On the other hand, Texas has been down and you haven't heard about much good going on there.
I still feel okay about us at LB.

we need a run stuffing mlb for the future. I think it would be a big loss to lose this guy.

I think Cherry might ought to stop waffling and reaffirm his commitment if he wants to be a Vol. I think the pieces are falling into place that he is replaced by Kirkland. Imo

I agree. Almost seems like the decision has already been made and CC is just looking for his future school. I get the feeling that he won't be given the chance to reaffirm his commitment. Looks to me like Kirkland is going to get that spot. Only thing that could change that IMO is if Kirkland still wants to take the rest of his OVs.

They will pay all of their athletes, in every sport, $10,000 a year but this will not happen until all litigation cases have been decided against the NCAA. If the NCAA wins any of the cases, all bets are off.

Not a bad ploy by Texas. They have all the money in the world down there.
