As far as Kirkland, I wouldn't be surprised if he, Richmond, and Newsome go somewhere together. If that happens, I think it is Ole Miss (likely) or Tennessee (less likely).

Well this sucks. Following this guy on Twitter it really seems that he's easily influenced and could change quickly. He posted stuff all the time about how much he loved TN. Although most of it was almost unreadable because of grammar and it really didn't make sense

We knew some of these guys have to decommit for us to keep taking more commitments elsewhere. I'll take it as good news if he does and just believe that we're in on so much talent that we will be sitting great by NSD.

I think it's safe to say that's going to happen whether Cherry is a part of this class or not.

Maybe we like Jakob Johnson and Gavin Bryant enough to let him walk. Jakob will be our Sophomore next year and Gavin looks to be redshirting. Maybe Butch thinks we are ok?

Entirely possible but it's really weird that someone that was committed so long and seemed so solid in all of his comments, suddenly just has a change of heart like this. I find it weird that this is the first we've heard about Texas being his "dream school" as well; generally we hear that earlier in the process.

It could really be that Cherry just now has time to really dig into the recruiting process but it's just a little strange in the timing especially for a kid that's an EE.

This how many kids grow up in Florida/Georgia as Tennessee fans, and how many of them are good enough to play in the sec? Lol

In Georgia? I would say there are a lot. We don't get many players from Florida and I'm sure there aren't many in Florida. Also, the amount of players on our team that would say UT is their favorite school is well above 30%. Considering most on the roster are from TN or close to TN. Not to mention the legacies.
