'15 LB FL Cecil Cherry (former Vol commit)

Hilarious exchange on a TX forum:

Vol fans would probably kill someone if we found a way to flip Cherry, how many have flipped from UT-lite over the years? He seems locked into Tennessee though, if he came in on an official and had time to talk to Strong I'd feel better babout our chances.
Chris Simms?
The Great Dalton Santos was flipped from Tenn
Advantage Tenn

With AJ moving on Cherry and Bates hopefully will fight for MLB

I assume you mean "Bryant"? Dillon Bates plays Will.

I'm hoping Maggitt slides into the MLB spot along side JRM. I think he has the size, speed, and knowledge to pull it off.

Through nine games for the Storm, the productive and hard-hitting linebacker has registered 95 tackles (58 solo), three interceptions, three forced fumbles and a pair of sacks, averaging out to nearly 12 tackles per contest.

..."I'm supposed to be taking an official visit to Texas (this) weekend," Cherry said. "They offered me when Strong moved over there. The defensive line coach (Chris Rumph) offered me when he was at Alabama, too.

"Chris Nelson, my homeboy that I played little league with, he's there and we're like brothers. You never know, it's a roller-coaster this time in college football. You have to enjoy your time because once you're locked in, you're locked in and you'll never get it again."

Cherry says Clemson, Minnesota and Arizona are possible visit destinations as well.

Ok, vacations to Clemson, Arizona and Texas I get.

But Minnesota in the winter? Uh, don't get that one.

I get the gist and I'm really not trying to sound like a smart ass, but what could he possibly mean when he says "godly"?

He wants to enjoy the fruits of his efforts in a way that is glorifying to God...i.e. schools are willing to have him visit all expense paid due to his skill, as opposed to the ill gains that he undoubtedly witnesses from time to time. Sounds like a kid with character. Want even more.
