Lol yea, I bet CC is getting encouraged to take visits. Bet he "coincidently" ends up at a visit with our other top prospects. Cherry recruiting: "come to tennessee. Or I will crush your soul. I will break you" "yessir, mr cherry, yessir"

Cecil Cherry*spent plenty of time preparing mentally and physically for the Nike Football Training Camp in Orlando. That linebacker MVP award and invite to The Opening were on the*Tennessee*commit’s mind heading into the camp and he took both back to Frostproof with him.

“It was really important (for me to do well), I can’t thank anybody but God for everything He did for me. I’ve been working hard every day to come out and compete. I’ve still got a lot more stuff to improve on before I get to UT,” he said.

“I’m really excited about. It’s an experience that I wanted and I thank God for everything.”

Cherry says a long list of college are continuing to recruit him including*Florida State,*Arizona State,*Alabama,*LSU,*Notre Dame,*South Carolina, and*USC. He’ll likely take some official visits in the fall, but said there isn’t a doubt in his mind he’ll end up in Tennessee.

“That’s not possible (for anyone to change my mind), but I still want to go and meet new people,” he said.

His brother,*Demetrius Cherry, plays football at Arizona State, so ASU is one of the official visits he definitely wants to take. Still, he says Tennessee fans don’t need to worry. Cherry continues to have a great relationship with the Volunteer family and it even extends beyond the coaching staff.

“(I talk to coaches) everyday. I even talk to (head) coach (Butch) Jones’ wife, she calls and checks on me,” Cherry said.

“I love that coach Jones, he doesn’t just care about football. (Linebackers) coach (Tommy) Thigpen, he loves all his position players. They treat everybody the same. It’s about becoming a man, not all about football.”

Cherry says his final official visit will be to Tennessee.

He said in an interview one time that back during his MSU days, his wife learned to play a certain card game (don't remember the name) that was popular with families of prospects in order to help him with recruiting.

CC didn't actually win these but he took them and told the kid that won them to sit the f@&$ down and shut up. Then CC made the kid clean his cleats and wash his jock.

CC's film taking snaps at RB is hilarious. He is an absolutely unstoppable force of nature, just bouncing off and plowing through anyone in his way. It's like watching Todd Gurley run through a pee wee squad.

I can see this guy getting sued at some point this coming season.Hes going to hurt or kill some high school kid.
