This kid, Mouhoun, and Bates will be fun to watch. Especially with TKjr backing them up. Have fun running the ball on us. And Corey Vereen off the edge with Latroy Lewis along with Jason Carr and O'Brien up front should be decent. :)

I've heard that all recrits from FrostProof play the SLOT.....

Our last recruit from there has the offspring to proove it!

I C wut u did thar!

Seriously though, this is fan-freakin'-tastic! Kid looks menacing, intimidating and violent. Just what I want in my MLB!

This is our latest commit staring down Ray Lewis http://i.imgur.com/WnADWDr.jpg

Well Ray is 6'1 and had a pretty good career, CC is pretty much eye to eye with him as a sophomore. I don't think height will be too much of an issue with him. He's outrunning people at FB so speed isn't an issue either. ESPN reports a somewhat unattractive 40 time but this is a kid with no track background that's build like a brick house, i doubt he's been trained very thoroughly in his 40 technique and form. It looks like he's got plenty of speed with the pads on.

Excellent.

2011 article on Cherry, then a freshman at Orangeburg-Wilkinson HS (SC):

"When I see a guy with the ball, I think I just have to lay the hat on them," Cherry said. "It's just like they took something of yours. You have to make them pay."

Reeves paid mightily. Cherry locked in from across the field and started barreling toward the ball. At 6-0, 190, he clocked in at 4.8 in the 40 at a combine last year. He was going about that fast when he met Reeves, spinning the diminutive player around and sending the ball spiraling up into the night sky.

The Bruins recovered the fumble and went on to their first touchdown in what turned out to be a 21-14 win. But, Cherry, who has 35 tackles and a sack in three games, wasn't finished.

Just before the end of the first half, Colleton County tailback Diquan Crosby broke free for a 30-yard gain to move the Cougars into scoring position with little time remaining. Two plays later, Reeves passed to Crosby on a screen pass.

And, there was Cherry, dubbed "Florida" by his coaches and teammates, to dish out the punishment, a blow that drew a reaction of twisted faces from the Bruins' coaching staff. Crosby did not return to the game in the second half.

Its just like they took something of yours. Priceless.

I'm so ready to see this kid in Orange!! Makes me want to jump out of my skin that we have to wait 2 more years til this guy is even a freshman on campus!! Ahh!!

This kid is a man child. This kid is fearless and attacks the line of scrimmage like a beast. Who would have ever thought Butch and staff would be recruiting at such a high level at this point. Very impressive!!! #brickbybrick #RiseToTheTop #VFL
