Yeah I tweeted to him shortly after I saw him post that. Hopefully he's just enjoying the recruiting ride. BUT as much as I hate him and the entire state of Alabama, it's hard for Nick Saban to talk and an 17-18 yr old recruit NOT listen. Too much bling on them fingaz.

But honestly, grade problems at UT would be the same grade problems at any other SEC school. I mean the kid has to pass the clearinghouse, and then maintain those grades while in college. If he can't do that, then it's a waste of a scholarship period. Hit them books big guy!!!

I was tweeting back and forth with his uncle yesterday. He was talking about how CLT wanted him to come down to Tuscaloosa for the weekend. Seems Bama is all they are talking about. The GOOD news is that Cam seemed lukewarm at best about going, that he had other plans. Hopefully he stays out of that ____hole of a town..

Per 247 article, Patrick said he is fully committed to Tennessee. He will take a few visits just to see other places but he doesn't think there is any way he will change his mind. Coach Chaney is his lead recruiter & he stays on him about keeping his grades in order & being on track to enroll.

Just texted him and asked him what's going on with college ball? And he said he's solid to UT because his girlfriend of two years is going to UT also

Someone needs to contact his girlfriend, and tell her that if something goes wrong between them, to please tough it out until we get his LOI. Tell her to take one for the Vols and be a VFL! :)

Played Basketball w/ him yesterday at the YMCA, and dude can jump out the gym. He was dunking very easily, I didnt know who he was until i overheard his dad say he was committed to play football for UT. I asked him who else offered and he said Alabama, Arkansas, and couple others. Also he said he only has to get a good score on his ACT and he should be good.

I think he just has a few family members that want him to go to Bammer. The more I chat with him about it and the more I talk to his uncle it's pretty evident of that. Apparently having a big fam would benefit him staying close so they can see him play. Again, who would wanna relocate to that ____ hole town?

GVx247 has a new article up with Patrick quoted as saying he "wouldn't play for anywhere else" other than UT.

We'll see.

Time to back track. Now hearing that Cam may not transfer to Oak Ridge because of a possibility that he would not be eligible to play next year. This sounds weird to me, but I am not familiar with the TSSAA rules on transferring. If anyone is up to par with the rules feel free to share because I do not know anything about that.

You have to move addresses. You cant just change schools. If his legal guardian moves into the new school zone he will be able to play.

I have been under the impression, from what I was told, that his uncle was getting a job in Oak Ridge and he would be living with him.

In the end, I just hope he makes it to UT. LC has missed on it's chances to send a good players over there in the past in Travis Cozart and Travis Adams, although Camion is not technically a LC "product".
