'15 JUCO RB Alvin Kamara (UT commit 6/21/14)

He'd be crazy go bama ... UT could start day one ... I know competition blah blah ... yeldon...Hart...Fowler....Jones...Henry...tenpenny... there's only so many slot wr.. can't all be moved there or lb

I know Alvin personally. He says that he is a UT lock.

and by "know personally" I mean I read about him on Volnation.
and by "UT lock" I mean I don't know.

Oh Paul, you had me going there for a bit.
Hope you and Britt are doing well!

As for AK....hope he's a Vol.

Jones can sell him on the roll in this offense. Alvin is a perfect fit.

Kamara has been my favorite back in this class for a LONG time.

He is definitely not better than green in all offenses. I would love to have kamara but green is the better runningback IMO.

AK would be a very good fit for the UT offense. I know that kids are not afraid of competition and believe in their ability to beat out anyone. What the kids fail to understand that coaches like to roll with the proven experienced talent when possible.

Alabama is absolutely loaded at RB for the next 3 -4 years. Georgia is also loaded at RB for the next 2 plus years. He would get very few carries at either school for at least 2 years. UT can offer some the opportunity to get carries on day one against the top schools in the nation behind what may be the best OL in the nation.

If this guy wants to be the man in a year then he needs to come here other wise he may get lost in the shuffle at the two other schools.

Agreed. It makes absolutely perfect sense for him to come to UT. Recruits don't always see that, but my goodness.

I would be happy getting Green or Kamara. If I could only pick one to be part of this class, it's Green. We need the between the tackles sledgehammer more IMO with the other backs we have on the roster.

What's always been underestimated for AK on this board is his lower body strength. AK had a lean build overall, but he is deceptively strong. Because of his build everyone assumes slasher, but he has more than that in his arsenal, IMO. Add his ball catching skills, and he is special. May get blasted here, but reminds me alot of Marshall Faulk.

He's easily the best back we're looking at. His burst, speed, vision, underrated power, and pass catching ability make him special. I compared him to Andre Ellington personally. I also think he's a 5 star back. I was disappointed with the RBs from the US Army game. Thought they didn't really show anything outside of Bryant and Elliot.

Both games were sloppy I thought. More so than usual.
