You actually help my arguement. Poster stated that Saban only wins because of the top talent he recruits. That is based off of stars and rankings from sites. My point is recruiting only has so much to do with it.

C Warmack 1st rd projected 20th best OG in his class
M Ingram 1 rd pick, Heisman winner, 58th best RB in his class.
BJ Scott 5 star top ath in his class bust

I do not care how highly rated a class is coming in. If the staff can not maintain disclipline, develop to the expectations, and manage the egos it has no value at the end of the day or season. And I can name a few schools especially in the SEC that continues to recruit top talent but has yet to produce when it counts.

Saban was excellent with all that garbage you were spewing forth with the dolphins wasn't he? And winning national championships at mich state too? We had this argument a year ago and you were shredded. Remember claiming it was coaching, not just talent. I asked how lance Thompson could be so great at ala but apparently his coaching ability changed here, as did sunseri. Ansley. Dooley. Admitting that your team has the best players might diminish the accomplishment somewhat? Is that what got you so butthurt? Ala should win the nc every year, or at least be in the game. Their talent edge on the rest of the nation is vast. With only five teams or so within striking distance. Good coaching job against A&M by the way. EAD

Shredded cute, how old are you? Not sure how because I disagree with you. Sorry you think that your opinion is the only one. I mean UGA, USC, AU, LSU, and the list goes on with teams that all continue to recruit to top tier talent at the same level as UA and yet shall we look at all their records as well.

And in regards to being butthurt(your word) it seems you are the one that is. You continually bring it up for whatever reason so it seems that you may be a little butthurt. The fact is Saban is a great coach, on the field and on the recruiting trail. He continues to bring in great HS talent and develop them into great college players. So what we drop a game here or there. Is that really the best insult you got. If so I will take it and enjoy(not butthurt) reading continued post over and over about how Saban is not a good coach because some rival fan says so, because he is on the UA sideline and for me that is all that counts.:hi:

Saban is a phenomenal coach. Silly to argue otherwise. I wish we would have offered him $10 mil a year just to annoy Bama fans.

TW do you believe saban is able to intimidate a younger person more so than he could in the nfl? Which leads to the kids playing harder for him?

VN - the ultimate for hijackers. Never seen anything like it. You have to go through several pages of every thread to find one small bit of info or analysis that means anything. Mods are taking the holidays off all year round.

Has there been any word of Jones/staff going after Kamara - or is it all from Dools/staff trying to get him?

I didn't even read douche warriors response. It's so easy to get him perturbed defending Saint Nick. He claimed it wasn't nick but the assistants, and was not the recruiting. Lmao. I'd find it in his history if I were bored enough. If you don't win the nc with those players and absolutely outstanding coaches, then that would be a failure of monumental proportions. Should beat nd easily, but there is TD Jesus to deal with.
