'15 JUCO RB Alvin Kamara (UT commit 6/21/14)

very true.

I will get hammered by some but the farther we stray from God the worse shape our country gets. Morals are becoming a thing of the past.

You will get no argument from me -- I agree 100%. Because we have turned our collective backs on God, He is turning His back on us. We have lost our place of special blessing that was ours from America's inception, and that is exactly the cause of our current downfall in American morals and culture, and is the ultimate reason for our decline in world stature. If we do not return to our fear of God and respect for His precepts, our doom will be complete.

That is the teaching of Romans chapter 1, an amazingly detailed account of the progression of cause and effect leading to the downfall of many empires and nations. We are already far down the path toward our destruction and sadly it is doubtful that America will do the one thing that could save it -- that is to honor God and obey His precepts.

Ok -- back to Alvin Kamara whom I have said from the beginning will likely opt to be a Vol on NSD.

you can backcount EEs to the previous year so we can count 9 back to the 2012 class and we can add 25 to the 2013 class giving us 34 players.

In having the ability to sign 34 as you say, what does that say to you for the program with the longest tenured coach in the league in the second most talented state?

OCI do you think we would take Turman or Folston before Kamara/Green/Henry decides what they want to do? In other words, would we risk losing out on a top back to take 2 decent backs?

Truman and Folston are both top backs and not just decent IMO. Both are highly rated and Folston is in the top 250 fwiw. But I just love Turman's style. I know I'm in the minority but i would rather have him than Henry (partially but not solely bc I'm affraid Henry isn't done growing). Karmara and Turman are two of my favorite backs in this class.

+1

Would love to land either one of those backs.

All recruiting sevices now are saying that Kamara is bound for Georgia....the latest being Rivals not only the Georgia Rivals site but also Hubbs and crew. This is discouraging to say the least.

I don't know why, but I want Kamara the most out of all the backs this year.

I would put Bryant and Greene as the top 2 then Williams, Henry, Kamara and Turman as the next group.JMO of course and throw Folston in as well but any 2and from that group would get us some nice RB's.

Yeah, I wouldn't complain about any of those combinations but I do think we take two backs.

I agree bb, I think Kamara is going to be special.

He fits into that prototypical size for a runningback and has the game to back it up.

Can run outside and between the tackles, if he gets to the 2nd level has that next gear.

I want Kamara more than any other back for sure. He has a great, prototypical frame that can add plenty more weight, and he has great agility and crazy speed, with very surprising power. I think he's going to be ridiculous in college, and would max out his potential in our type of offense as well. Bring him to the hill.
