I think that is because his focus is on controlling his image through the media. Whatever information that gets out is exactly what information he says/wants to get out. To me in a way that makes him a media whore, he manipulates the media to shape his own imagine. Works very well for him btw.

Yes it was directed at them. The following sentences she says recruits so I figured that's what she was talking about. I would venture to say she knows some people at Georgia, so probably knows how it goes there. IIRC when Jason was recruited they wouldn't even touch Georgia, but my memory is fuzzy so that could be wrong.

I'll still believe someone who has been behind the scene as a recruits mother before any of you goons.

Normally I would agree but J Croom did not have an offer from UA, atleast according to all the sites and was not really recruited by UA. For that matter they do not show one from UGA either but I believe he did visit there. But I do not recall Croom ever having interest in UA either. But either way to know the insides of a program and how they recruit you would think one would have to be involved with that program.

If you visit there and interact with the coaches as a recruit and receive their pitch then you are more qualified than anyone on the board. If momma Croom sees enough to develop an opinion based off of her actual experiences then there is no argument. I'd be willing to bet you have not been recruited by the recent Bama so you look like a moron tryin to argue the point because you have ZERO experience with that aspect of the process. How can you seriously disagree? That doesn't even make sense.

Croom never had interest in UA. And if so why would you visit a school multiple times that never offered. Just curious because Croom never looked at UA. It could be because they heard from someone else about their experience and why he never liked UA who knows.

So in his entire HS career and him having a girl at Bama, he never visited multiple times? ..well if your Bama sites and tea party people never reported it then it couldn't have happened. :blink:

I just don't understand doubting a recruits mother... The point is YOU don't know, so why question someone who would? That's my point. It's not even worth arguing against, really...

I have yet to see any recruit that interest in a school not mention that school. I would think if he had real interest in UA it probably woul dhave been mentioned. Heck they report on players that have no interest some of the times. And the point is neither do you for sure. But you win and enjoy.:hi:

Tide has a logically based concern here. In this case he just dosent know all the facts.... You can dig through this thread if you wish, and you will find info straight from the horses mouth that you won't find on any other site. Recall, she said she intentionally made unannounced visits to test what the coaches said about 'family' atmosphere.... Dig and you'll find what your looking for, or just know that the Bama surprise visit didn't produce that 'family' vibe.....

you dont have to go through the process with a player to know if someone is a media whore, u can watch TV and figure that one out. The only thing we wouldnt know about that a parent would is the conversations behind closed doors between the recruit and coach, only thing I know about Jason Croom recruitment is that he was never offered by Bama. regardless of what anyone says on this site, most people, bias or unbias, know that Saban doesnt like to deal with the media. I have a family member, who doesnt even care a whole lot about football, that works directly with alot of the students and players at UA and even she will tell you that Saban doesnt care for the media. She will also tell you that his personality is alot different behind the scenes. he is still business like though. she is not the only one who has said this about Saban that I know there but her opinion has alot more validity than them and anyone on here because she is there on a daily basis.

I think it's common knowledge that Saban doesn't like the media.
