TW, where in any of my posts did I say that Kamara was a UT lean? Where did I say that MzT was pushing him to UT? NOWHERE!! All I said was that MzT stated in this thread (I believe...and I don't have time to go find it) that she gave AK a task of one or a few questions to ask of each school/coaching staff that he is considering...I believe MzT's words were "once that task is complete, AK will be cleared to make his announcement." Something along that line. I said that this is why he is making one last visit to UA and UGA, because although UA seems to be on the outside, he is STILL considering them as his destination and wants to do this task he was given with that school/staff as well. I don't have to defend MzT, as I am sure that she will get on here and defend herself. I know that she IS NOT pushing AK anywhere...just as her son did, he will make his OWN decision, wherever that may be. Fortunately, for MzT her son chose the school that she is in love with...may not be the same thing that happens for AK, her "other" son. She has explicitly stated that she lets the kid that make the decision, not her. I have no idea where you are drawing these speculations from that I have said anything otherwise.

Good debate guys and both of you are absolutely right. I am not and will not EVER push AK or any other kid in any direction, although I am a diehard UT fan and mom. This decision is life changing; be it right, wrong or indifferent. Whatever and wherever Ak or Henry chooses they have to feel good at the moment and have no regrets or remorse. I think it would be the BOMB if UT got both of these guys, but the likely-hood of that happening is slim to none. :cray:
I did give AK specific instructions. It looks like he's taking my advise. There are specific questions that need to be asked and matters layed on the table; and it indirectly has NOTHING to do with the football program specifically. Actually, coaches shouldn't even be involved in the tasks I put on AK.
I do believe AK has some serious things to think about over the next few weeks, and I do believe he should visit each school again at least twice... once by a drop in visit and the other on a game day. Drop in and just to be seen. Catch folks in their rare form; for who they really are and not their game face. Dont tell me its a homelike atmosphere and I pop up unexpectedly and can't sit in your office. lol I did Dooley like that.... and I'll say it a million times!! I LOVE MY DOOLEY i popped up on him, and my family was shown so much love it was shocking. it wasn't the staff it was me Dooley and TJ and Baggett and Hinshaw.... then some of the other coaches came out because they wanted to meet MZTERRY. I will never forget that; and I think feeling was the deal closer for us, and a year later its still the same. Same faces who came to my house, and even better relationship nowand they have my baby.
Recruiting will be over soon and coaches will begin looking at 2014 & 2015 classes. Who's gonna be the same person 3 years from now as they are today on recruiting day? For US it was UT / Dooley.... he's the same ALL the time. I don't have to make an appointment to see him. When he knows I'm on campus, hell he'll come find me. What's better than that???? NOTHING! I ain't that important, and it's not just me who feels this way about DOOLEY... Every parent I've ever had this conversation with feels the same way.
I said all that to say this. Just being the media whores that the two other mentioned schools coaches are; do you think they give a damn about the kids as people and not just players? I don't want my son to just be #18 6'5 232lbs wideout that's only good to you and for you in practice and on game day. I don't want you leaving my son with his position coach and he doens't know who you are as person and you don't know him. Every time you walk in, a secratary has to hand you a player profile sheet. Do you know how many times I've seen that mess? lol :birgits_giggle:COUNTLESS!! CDD knows his recruits and treats them like the young men they are. It's up to AK and Henry and what their desires are; whether they fall for the beautiful golf course in hell, or the rainy clouds of joy in heaven.
